If he really is the star caliber player we all think he is then it shouldn't matter where he plays. Let's see if he can shine if given enough playing time.

Official: Nekounam back in Iran, Ezatollahi to Russia
Saipa and FC Rostov gets new address for the defensive midfielders.
Javad Nekounam, former Iranian internationals with 152 caps and a successful spell at Osasuna, has signed a two-year contract with the Iranian vehicles owned by Saipa Karaj. Nekounam comes from right Osasuna he helped retain the Liga Adelante. Saipa coached by-loved and respected Majid Jalali who have been in the club since May 2014.
Saeed Ezatollahi, a young exciting players that can be Nekounams heir in the national team has taken the next step in his career. 19-year-old recently signed a 4-year contract with Russian FC Rostov and thus leave Atletico Madrid's youth academy. Ezatollahi was offered a contract with Atletico Madrid B, but because the team went down to the fourth division recently it was not an issue with the extension of the capital team.
A major reason for Saeed's choice of law depends on Sardar Azmoun, Iran's new young striker who has done well in the national team and also FC Rostov, he was loaned to half last season from Rubin Kazan. Azmoun made several goals of FC Rostov and helped the team avoid relegation, something that seemed very real when he joined the team. Sardar has now extended its lending to FC Rostov and will be very helpful for Saeed to acclimate to their new country and league.
Iranian League begins July 30 while the Russian league has just been launched. It remains to be seen when Ezatollahi and Azmoun get to play. The next game is on Friday July 24th away against FC Ufa. Rostov's first match ended in a draw, and then there were none of the Iranians in the squad.
