Let’s wait until Alipour shows a good performance in a TM game before assuming he’s going to replace a player who has proven himself for the national team.

Well you still missed the main point about Taremi not training fitness with CQ! I hope he will be ready for the WC but playing in Asia and not going through that fitness training, is not to his benefit.

No doubt he's agreat player, if he keeps away from hashieh. We definitely need him in Russia. Arguably the top 3 Iranian player.

Even a sunday league player can score 5 goals in 8 games in Qatar.

He might not be top 3 on paper but I think CQ will use him in the world cup. Him and Azmoun play well together

If only Taremi and the rest would listen to this guy. Here is Sneijder's view of Arab leagues...

Sneijder, Holland's most-capped player, was aware that joining the Arab club could potentially have negative consequences for his international career. However, he insisted that he respects Koeman's desire to replenish the Dutch national team with a new generation of players after the country failed to qualify for this summer's World Cup in Russia.

"When I left, I knew, of course, the influence that this move to Qatar could have on my career as an international," he said.

Wesley Sneijder's illustrious career with the Netherlands is over after the 33-year-old announced his retirement from international football on Sunday. The decision to call time on his international career followed a meeting with new Dutch manager Ronald Koeman in Qatar, according to Joe Shread of Sky Sports. Sneijder has played there with Al Gharafa since January. I feel proud and honoured to have been able to play for my country for 15 years, 9750 minutes, 133 games, 85wins, 31 goals.Football is my all time passion. Good luck to the next generation. Give 100% always! Untill we meet again ⚽️🔥🧡🦁 #OnsOranje 🎥NOS pic.twitter.com/CEWoGzs1dl— Wesley Sneijder (@sneijder101010) March 4, 2018 Sneijder, Holland's most-capped player, was aware that joining the Arab club could potentially have negative consequences for his international career. We were very open and that was a very pleasant conversation. I respect his choice."Of the 133 appearances Sneijder made, few compared to the World Cup final in 2010 when he represented Holland on football's biggest stage.
