With the expection of Perspolis, Esteghlal and Sepahan, where the players get a ridicolous high amount of money, other players, especially young and less experienced players don't get that much salary. The Mohammadi twins have an annual salary of 150-200 million tomans , which is about 35-50k euros. A lot of players in average IPL teams get less than 100 Million.

Kagawa, Nagatomo, Honda, Shinji Okazaki and Makoto Hasebe have all been successful in their clubs and this opens up for other Japanese players to join european teams. Football is business, look at Porto, shakhtar and Dortmund for example. They buy players with raw talent and develop them into superstars.
Iranian players have not been successful in Europe (after Daei, Madavikia, Azizi era) and therefore European clubs look elsewhere.
Remember, the number of non-eu players are limited, so they have to pick the best players. Our football academies are very weak!! so dont expect too much. We should be happy that Sardar, saeid ezatollahi and Jahanbaksh have reached a good level.

You should perhaps try to watch again Iran's matches against those teams, or maybe the games our players in Europe played against theirs . We have continuously proved on the football pitch that Iranian players are certainly not inferior to the fortunate East-Asians that get to play in Germany and elsewhere

Daei, Mahdavikia Karimi etc.. weren't more successful and famous than all these japanese/koreans playing in top european leagues and champions league. The only top clubs in which iranian clubs played was Bayern and they weren't successful there (Karimi maybe before the injury but that's all).
Yeah we outplayed Japan in a meaningless friendly at home but the final results was 1/1. And Japan NT was more successful and consistent than TM in the last 20 years.

As there is a discussion about transferring Asian (Iranian/Japanese/Korean) players to Europe, this is what Alireza Haghighi has said in a recent interview
He basically says, that goalkeepers, in general players from Asia, especially Iranian players have a difficult task to get to Europa and that players from East Asia have an easier way due to marketing and sponsoring reasons and incomes European players profit of.
I remember we had loads of Iranian players in Europe in the early 2000s and a lot of Iranian players who rarely played at TM moved to Europe even years after the WC (Majidi, Samereh, Serjik Teymourian). Between 2006/07 and 2013/14 we had a drought of transferring Iranian players to Europe and a lot of players with huge potential have been wasted in Iran (Khalatbari, Rahmati, Gh. Rezaei, Heydari). Now, after the WC 2014, Iranian players have become more attractive, but not as wanted as in the past. There are way less offers and if there ore some, it's mostly "less attractive" teams. In this summer window only 3 Iranian players were seriously involved with a transfer to Europe. (Mohammadi, Sharifi, Hajsafi)

That's normal that iranians aren't hype anymore, we (TM and EU legionnaires) disappeared from the circulation during some crucial years. Remember how Iran was mocked during the WC14 draw and just before the start of last WC. It was like we were guam with some amateur guy that play football as a hobby

If iranian players had the same opportunities as east asian players or even as past generations can you explain why pooladi, one of the best rated defenders in the world cup, isnt in the bundesliga or epl? Or why hajsafi had to spend an extra yeae in iran even though he had offers from england and even travelled there. Was this because hes not talented or because of non footballing reasons?
