Great outside the box shot by Jahanbaksh. Super save by goalie.

PSV are the champions of the Eredivisie, Ajax didn't got past De Graafschap (1-1) so they gave it away on the final matchday

His injury basically ruled him out of the first half of the season and it's good that he's fit now. Hopefully he'll start the next season fit and consistently show us what he's capable of. BTW his agent today confirmed that he's had some big money offers from Arab teams but he's staying put and will be a AZ player next season.

Sometimes stats dont show the entire picture. Its not a coincidence that AZ shot up the standings once Jahanbakhsh came back. He played well this year. Injuries happen.

Please also forget the fact that ARJ played 7 and 10 less games than the #3 and 4 ranked players. You know, he couldn't get 1 or 2 more goals and 3-4 more assists if he actually played 30 or 33 games this season.

He had a bad season because in 10 less games he scored 1 less goal and 4 less assists...

People need to stop looking at the numbers and think CRITICALLY for a second. There are many intangibles that go into a player's season more than the numbers alone. Low game count due to injury, rust upon return from a long injury, the fact that his numbers are still pretty damn good despite joining a new team and missing a good amount of the season, and finally, the fact that his team improved so dramatically from near the lower part of the table to a top 4 finish.

It's okay though, he's still 5th place, so people will harp on that.

This article was posted earlier, but i thought it is interesting to see that he is listed next to talents of clubs such as manchester city and athletico madrid.

Impressive when you see the names alongside his. He is certainly a top talent with lots of potential and can easily make a top 3 league (BuLi, Liga and EPL) in the upcoming years

FC Twente has been relegated to the Jupiler League because of the consequences from financial mismanagement. It was the same club who where interested in Jahanbakhsh.
