From the scenes/highlights shown on Navad, they seem to be definitely in HD (not ony in Azadi, in all stadiums) however IRIB switched to their low quality broadcasting again for some reason, and those same matches were shown in the same low quality as always. Really weird...

This might be because of the broadcasting right issues with IFF. Three games have been shown in HD so far. Perspolis - Saba, Esteghlal - Perspolis and Iran - Turkmenistan. I think the derbies and international games in Azadi are going to be shown in HD for sure. ACL matches in other places are going to be converted to HQ. Otherwise, most of the games are currently shown in SD more or less.

Few weeks ago there were news about Spanish/Arabic companies negotiating with the League Organization to issue broadcasting rights.

You're probably right yeah, Iran-Japan was also in HD. I really hope we will get as most matches as possible in HD, because it's a whole different experience and much more enjoyable to watch
