Both goals were a result of rezas hard work. The last few games he's played he's been a very influential player in their build up. Whoever said he did poorly is absolutely retarded. The back heel was genius and the steal from the first goal was exactly what makes Gucci valuable. He constantly harasses and harasses. When he is fit he puts in so much work. We saw how he can be pesky against any defenders.

Great game by Reza it seemed. Direct and important involvement in both goals!

Their fans were still saying he deserved to be subbed off. Idiots.

In my observation British fans are hands down the most rude and idiotic fans in all of Europe. They talk trash, leave their stadiums early, German and Spanish fans are much better.

Reza just posted a pic on insta with alireza haghighi who has come to visit him in london.

I wonder if he is negotiating with any english teams....there was apparently interest from english teams before.

indeed, their fans are some of the most pessimistic, negative and Cynical football fans on face of earth..!!
they'd love an opportunity to bitch and whine or slag off their players and coaches/managers or anyone else associated with the club when results isnt going their way, especially so if they are Foreign players etc ..!
any of their players can go from hero to Zero in a matter of one off game,( sometimes in the same game..!) they would quickly resort to ridicule and jeering an underperforming player..! its all about "what have you done for me lately" with these selfish lots..!!
and then they wonder why their clubs are so unstable and and football squads have such a high turnover ratio .!!
They demand 100% loyalty from their players but they are so quick want rid of a player who is temporarily struggling with form or even injury..!!
Nonetheless, English are also some of the most passionate football fans around and gotta admit, i do love to read through their football forums and blogs, as its flooded with many witty, well spoken smart-asses, spewing all sorts of funny sarcastic remarks they've made an art form of taking the piss, and brutally slagging off their underperforming players...! lol

English probably have the most competitive set of football league system and their clubs do pay handsome wages and attract some of the world's best football talents, but their fans afford those players very short leash of positive support and the time to adequately settle in and succeed ..!

I thought Haghighi was in Paris.

Really hope a team picks up Haghighi that will actually give him playing time and that is at least a championship side.

Just a random side note, I've seen Reza around in London and actually passed where he is currently living. I only live 10 minutes away from him haha. When I find the time I need to go to some Charlton home games and see Gucci in action I've heard tickets are cheap on matchday. From what I've seen he's managed to settle in London with some familiar faces around him which is always good and we are seeing that in terms of his quality performances. His work rate suits the English game and I can see him becoming a key player for Charlton. Being realistic I'd like to see him putting in great performances in the championship and making a name for himself within the English game.

I live 2 hours away from London and I'd love to catch Reza live as well. Thinking of catching a game or two around Feb-March. Hopefully he keeps up the good form and keeps injury free until then haha
