Didn’t see anyone mentioning this, but during the Turkmenistan match Gucci once tried to fool the GK by walking behind him hoping for the GK to put the ball on the ground so he can quickly surprise him coming from behind. You know, similar to this:
I like that he tries to be creative, which goes to show how hungry he is. Gucci lost his brain for a year, but unlike Dejagah, he found it and can finally be respected more again.Formerly known as Persianking!

"VALLEY REVIEW | Submit your questions for Reza Ghoochannejhad
Iran international set to be the main feature for the official matchday programme for the visit of Ipswich Town on Saturday, November 28th
George Jones reports
Reza Ghoochannejhad will be sitting down with Valley Review this week after netting his first league goal of the season in the 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday a fortnight ago.
The Iran international was a standout performer in the win against the Owls and, since returning from a knee injury, he has been a regular in the Addicks’ side.
He’ll discuss his historic World Cup campaign with Iran, in which he became the first ever Charlton player to score at the major tournament, his renaissance in SE7 and his hopes for the remainder of the season.
As always, supporters can submit their questions for the first teamer, who was away on international duty until Thursday.
Whether you would like to find out things like his best moment in football, his favourite holiday destination or any pre-match superstitions that he may have, fans can use Twitter and Facebook to submit their requests.
Those on Facebook should reply to the club’s post, which was published on Thursday afternoon, while those on Twitter should tweet theirs using #AskReza.
The best questions will be included in next Saturday’s edition of Valley Review, when Charlton host Ipswich Town, and one fan will also receive a programme signed by Ghoochannejhad as well as a free, 12-month CAFC PlayerHD subscription."

CAFC 'a interm coach pregame comment
"“Reza had a long, 25-hour flight back, so we will have to manage that, but he is fit. "
Tony watt is likely out & the new striker signing , Vaz Te lacks game fitness ..!
So it seems like Reza will likely starts & gets subbed out early second half or comes off bench for Vaz Te in 2nd half..!??
Mack is a definite starter for sat. I really hope Reza can partner him up front. Mack is not a prolific scorer but a fantastic striking partner who knocks down a lot of balls in path of players around him & for a big guy has a smooth touch on his passes. ..!
I hope he doesn't get pushed out wide as a winger again ..!

TBH, Charlton dont have a bad team. I think that Reza, Makienok, Alou Diarra, Naby Sarr, El Hadji Ba, Fox (target for many pl teams apparently), Kashi, are all actually pretty good players. I think they have been unlucky with injuries and to have an Israeli dichead, moron coaching them (thx god he is gone). They have the quality to be safely mid table. They just need to get a bit more defensively solid and have better luck with injuries. Once they put a 3 or 4 game unbeaten run together than they can really push on.
