And old these money spend on overrated talents, mediocre players of French ligue 1 and seeing more and more less quality/boring games in EPL
In terms of European cup and now champions league:
Spain - Real (won 10 times) and Barcelona (won 5 times)
England - Liverpool (4 times), Manchester united (3 times), Nottingham Forrest (2 times), Chelsea (1 time) and Aston Villa (1 time)

So that should prove to you that outside of Barcelona and Real Madrid most Spanish teams have not been successful at the top level of European soccer.

we are speaking about present and recent last years not history. Eastern european clubs were very strong in the nineteens (Red star Belgrad, Dynamo Kiev etc..) it doesn't mean their league is strong today.
And Spain, with clubs like Alaves and Rayo Vallecano coming from nowhere (and now in 2nd division) went straight to Europa league final. recently EPL have ridiculous records in European competitions despite all the money they spend.

dont forget 5 of Real Madrid CL trophies were in the 50s where the teams they played were mostly unheard of lol

honestly i follow all the leagues, and EPL to me is the 4th most interesting. I love Serie A because its super competitive and tactical, La Liga teams even though they get beat up by barca/real they still manage do to good in Europe and there is a nice flow to most games, bundesliga got great fan base and some good football too...their defense is questionable at time.....but almost all the big EPL games i watch they suck big time. When the big teams face each other its 1 out of 10 times where its good, other times its a draw or like 1-0

That's why I say compare recent results. No need to go before 3/4 years ago, last week Arsenal lost, Chelsea lost, City won against the powerhouse dynamo Kiev, United is on verge to be out against Danish side, tottenham drew fiorentina

lol, Down already 3-1 @ HT
Their ex forward now playing for reading with 2 goals & an assist so far ..!& another disallowed goal.
Lining up with effectively 5 defenders & conceding 3 goals in 45' ha ha ha
CAFC goal scored by Sanogo & seems involved so perhaps Reza will be brought late for Big Mac or perhaps Riga takes out a defender & bring Reza to make an attemp of salvaging something from this home match.
As things stand CAFC are 9-10 points from safety with a terrible goal differential to boot ..! So essentially relegated ..!
Reza must gtfo dodge @ season's end.
                3-2
                Sanogo with the 2nd
                2subs gone already
No Reza yet midway through 2nd half

3-3 89' Reza gets subbed in for injured hat-trick hero Sanogo

a minute later CAFC concede 4th from set piece again ..!! lol

FT 90+1' 3-4 charlton loose and seem destined for the drop...!!

that is like the 5th or 6th goal that CAFC has conceded from set-pieces in the last 2-3 games..! the coach is gonna get hammered after this..! you would think their Keeper has a fair share of blame too..!? afterall its mostly keeper's job to organize their defense against Set pieces and surely he coulda exited to claim some of those set piece chances..?? but off course he is one of the few Fan favorites and their fans wanna blame anyone but ...!!

Charlton fans will still blame Reza

Charlton plays in league one next season. Remember Massimo Luongo started from league one and shinned later to move up the ladder. This is an opportunity for Reza to follow Massimo's foot steps.

                            CAFC leading 2-1
                            C. Harriot with brace
                            75'plus gone
Two other forwards on bench Mac n Lookman, doubtful Reza would feature today !??
He has exceptional workrate away from ball, so perhaps he would be brought on late !??
