The fittest Iranian player? Omid Alishah!

Sorry, I am not the type of member to make a thread for every thought, but this is something that kept following me:
I have been watching Omid Alishah closely for some time and this guy has a monster stamina!! Of course I don’t know all IPL players, but I am willing to come out and bet he has the best stamina of the league - man the guy has 4 lungs!

2 scenes on top of my mind:

Perspolis playing Al Hilal in the knockout stage in front of a totally filled Azadi stadium, breaking another ACL record. Huge pressure on the players and the last chance to keep the fans happy this season. It's close to the end, 0-0, and the 8-0er defender tries to head the ball out and clear it - Alishah however pressures the defender and chases the ball as if the match just started. With a tackle he pushes the ball to Taremi and goal - a last minute win. Few seconds later everybody is waiting for the final whistle, Ali Hilal putting pressure and Perspolis trying to secure the lead. Ball reaches Alishah and he just kicks the ball up front, running like a horse and easily getting past 1-2 8-0ers - only with a foul they were able to stop him, hence Perspolis saved valuable time and the win was ours. Not even once Alishah showed glimpse of tiredness, despite such a crucial match.

Now today in Khuzestan: The referee gives both teams a water break, the weather is extremely hot and the commentator can’t even recognize the players in the second half anymore due to the heavy dust. Perspolis is losing and needs to score - everybody looks tried; even a horse like Taremi is breathing hard. And Alishah? lol still running, getting past players and creating the last chances for Perspolis. What does it take to make this boy tired? I don’t know...

This player can be a pain in the a** for any defender. With his short stature he is pretty flexible, runs & hustles the whole time and gives no one a break.

I am merely talking about stamina, not quality. Although Alishah played as RB, he is certainly more of an offensive winger - so it does not make sense to compare him with Ghafouri.

Ya I know. Felt like teasing a bit since I pulled the same thing on Beitashour. Just trying to prove I'm not biased. Alishah does seem fit. I just personally don't think he has a great IQ of the game. Probably the main reason why he is being kept away from TM camps.

Alishah should be starting on TM as far as I am concerned, technically he is better than any TM wingers other than Ashkan

I was in the stadium during the game vs al hilal. The guy was the ONLY standout player from perspolis. He has very good talent, decent vision, and great stamina.

I hope this guy leaves iran soon, IPL will give him nothing. This guy could tear shit up with a team like NEC.

Idk how he is not starting in TM....he has the skills of KB, the physical strength of seyed jalal, and speed unlike anything we have seen before. His engine runs forever and he plays hard the full 90 minutes.....he's everything CQ likes in a player it still boggles my mind that he is not a consistent call up. Hopefully he can repeat his performance from last season

Definitely TM material for sure, his defensive contributions are probably not enough in CQ's eyes considering the system which TM plays

Let's get back on topic, it's really only about his fitness level. We have several good options on that position - have to see who is the best - but Alishah stands out when it comes to stamina IMO. I think he even tops Ando, would love to see some statiscis from Alishah.

Watch how he pressures the defender in min. 91 and creates a last minute goal:

or how he gets the ball in min 96(!) and runs up the right wing, only being stopped by a foul.

ive only seen him play once..! in ACL at Azadi i think..? everyone raved about him after the game..., i wasnt too impressed..!!?

may be the guy will pan out..? he is still young and i suppose we could use a hustler in TM with nonstop engine to harass opponents as Ando seem to be getting old and played out..!!?

As long as Alishah continues to dive left & right I don't want him near TM material, this is disgusting. He such a huge threat, doesn't need to play unfair. Even when he beats a player he goes for the dive, totally unnecessary!

its funny because if he didn't dive one that 1v1 we probably would have had a goal, he beat the guy and was all alone with taremi coming into the box
