In regards to Twitter, he hasn't had a club in a couple of years. For all I know he can post whatever he wants to on his free time when he's not a professional footballer?

Here are some pictures of him from todays light training session ahead of tomorrows friendly. Note that this is also the last session/game AIK has this season. Then it's X-mas and in January they start their pre-season training ahead of the season start come spring time.
As mentioned, I'd be shocked if this trial led to something since for instance Iraq's arguably best player Ahmed Yasin barely saw the pitch this past season, but hopefully it leads to something at least.
AIK has had far better players such as Francois Kamano (Bordeaux) & Modou Barrow (Swansea) on trial these past couple of years. Also note Swedens biggest talent Alexander Isak, 17, (#36) in the pic(s). Scored 10 goals as a 16y old and it touted to be sold for 10M€+ beating Zlatan's fee to Ajax. Scouted by PSG, Man City, Juventus, Real Madrid & Chelsea.

Hopefully Navid can do well. He is a fan of team melli and posts stuff about them on his twitter. You never know.
Thanks for your input Hormozgan jaan.

But for real, hasn't he been one of the top 5 most influential in their team together with Dhurgham Ismail, Ali Adnan, Yaser Karim, Alaa Abdul-Zahra etc.?
No worries, will try to keep post any new info on the progress!

Give respects to Ali Adnan for going to Seria A, but he's really not that good and he gets very little burn in the Seria A, on one of the worst Seria A teams. He was coveted because they think he's 22 - he's not (he's 25 from what I've read). Ismail plays in decent Turkish league but again, for one of the worst teams there.
I don't think that him not starting or getting much playing time has anything to do with Navid's most-likely inability to get into the team. Let's hope he gets a chance, he's a youngster and AIK is on the come-up in European football.

Quick update after yesterday:
Reports after practice is that some AIK fans in their forums are impressed with Navid considering he's severely lacking match fitness not having played professional football games in 1-2 years. It's only been 1 training and 1 friendly, but they say that he's style is very un-British and technical with a lot of take ons (which we already knew). That he helps pulling defences a part with cutting runs, good touch and that he potentially may have a place in the squad with these elements to his game.
The problem is that AIK plays a 3-5-2 formation with no attacking wingers, but wingbacks. That's a reason Yasin gets no play either. So Navid doesn't have a natural position within that formation unless he can play one of the 3 CM positions (preferably the one that is a bit more attacking; like Stefan Ishizaki), but then you have to consider his defensive capabilities which probably aren't enough as of yet. But positive feedback nonetheless.
He seems to also have been involved in the 1-0 goal against Dalkurd where he set up the assist. So hopefully maybe he can get a contract within Allsvenskan regardless of team.

I don't think nobody ever mentioned this guy for obvious reasons, but 24y old winger Arvin Shojaee just transfered from 3rd tier Gothenburg club Qviding to 2nd tier classic Gothenburg club GAIS who plays in Superettan in Sweden after impressing in a trial. New coach is quoted saying that he's really good 1v1.
