[RUMOUR] Mehdi Sharfi to Rapid Wien

translation: A Iranians for Rapid? According to "crown" was offered the Viennese striker Mehdi Sharifi from FC Isfahan. the contact came about earlier Leoben and Sports Club Legionnaire Amir Saadati.

I don't speak german can someone fully translate this.

Whats going on? Has he been offered a contract? Rapid is in the PO round of UCL and has 100% booked a spot in EL if they fail. It would be a great move to Austria's best team ATM.

Inshallah it goes thru unlike mohammadi's to sturm graz. this would be a sensational move and would immediately put him into a better position in TM

Just to clarify this was a tweet by Transfermarkt, who were relaying info from Krone, a reputable austrian newspaper. Rapid wien are already first in the Austrian league winning all of their 4 games. Sharifi is versatile enough to play on the wing as well as striker. In his most favored position robert beric, slovenian striker, 24 years of age, who scored over 20 goals last season is first choice.

It said that he will go on trial, guess this will be another Milad Mohammadi story. So don't expect anything

If the club was really impressed and keen to give him a contract, they would give him one already. Screw them with their useless trials.

According to Ramin Ahmadzadeh, he was offered to the club and not the other way around.

Persianfootball.com – VIENNA/ESFAHAN, Sepahan Esfahan striker Mehdi Sharifi (22) was offered to Austrian powerhouse SK Rapid Vienna.

According to the Austrian daily news paper “Krone”, the 22-year-old could make his way to Vienna to attend a trial at the former club of Farhad Majidi and Mehdi Pashazadeh.

The current Austrian table topper Rapid qualified for the Europa League. Rapid will face Shakhtar Donezk next week to qualify for the Champions League.

Krone also reported that the contact between the club and Sharifi’s agent was established by former DSV Leoben player and Iranian international Amir Saadati.

In other words don't get excited.

None of the Austrian sources say anything about a trial. The Austrian league has already started so I'm not sure if they could even trial a player in official games. But you're right it's unlikely to happen since sepahan would probably ask for as much as messi.
