به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون، مهناز امیرشقاقی، سرمربی تیم ملی فوتبال جوانان گفت: پس از برگزاری اردوی تدارکاتی و انجام سه بازی دوستانه در تهران، اکنون آماده رقابت با کره جنوبی، کره شمالی و تایلند هستیم.
وی در ادامه در پاسخ به سوال خبرنگاری که پرسیده بود اصلی ترین حریف ایران در این بازیها چه تیمی است، گفت: تمامی تیم ها برای کسب بهترین نتیجه تلاش می کنند و نمی توان هیچ حریفی را دست کم گرفت. اما کره جنوبی و تایلند با توجه به شناختی که از نوع بازیشان دارم، حریفان سختی برای ما محسوب می شوند.
سرمربی تیم ملی در ادامه این نشست در پاسخ به این سوال که آیا کره شمالی حریف جدی برایشان محسوب نمی شود گفت: همانطور که قبلا هم اشاره کرده ام هیچ تیمی را نباید دست کم گرفت.چرا که فوتبال دنیا در حال رشد است و 8 تیم برتر آسیا به این مسابقات راه پیدا کردند.
وی در پایان گفت: امیدواریم در این بازیها بتوانیم عملکرد خوبی داشته باشیم و بهترین نتیجه را کسب کنیم و باعث افتخار ایران باشیم.
