UAE definitely played more attractive football than us.

More attractive, maybe. Better? Not at all. They barely had a shot on goal that game.
Defensive tactics don't mean bad tactics. Mounrinho and Simeone play that way too. Mourinho have won the UCL twice. He has one of the best records ever in the Premier league (horrible season now though).

I know, but I meant in general in the whole tournament.
But you can't deny most people in the world like teams that play attractive football and hate the football the likes of Inter and Athletico played.

People hate it cause they can't beat that system. But in general yeah, you're right. But that doesn't make it 'good football'. What's good football is winning games.

To the neutral viewer who wants to see goals maybe. Ive played two positions in football Center Attack Mid and Defensive midfielder. I think anyone who has played a defensive position before can appreciate that defensive tactics have their own beauty.

Still UAE became 3rd while we could not defend a 1-0 lead against Iraq. And Al-Ahli from Dubai beat Naft....

Cool, you know a lot more than me . It's not hard keeping possession? Haha, our players under CQ can't string 3 passes together. It's 'Parking the bus' which is easy! It can be done pretty much with any team in any league. lol, I can't beleive you think playing possession football 'is not hard' and Please, don't try to compare our team with Chelsea and Atletico Madrid! I beg you.

Is it just me or Iran is pulling back? KSA can easily get back in this. Also the play by play coaching of Khakpour is ridiculous as if it is U16

If they had relaxed and as the coaches were telling them "ajale nakon!", then they wouldn't have conceded a goal.

Haha, you have a point there.

It's pretty obvious they're using Hadi Norouzi as a motivation for them to win the match and qualify. That for sure is a plus. But they need to keep their heads in the game. They need to put pressure on the saudis and make them defend. We can score another goal. They just don't want to concede so they're 50-50 to pull back and defend.

First and most important lesson for the team, and especially in a match like this, "ajale nakon!".
