Did you guys watch the game? I mean did you guys REALLY watch the game today?

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia were played as if their balls were on the line.

This was a pure example of what a rivalry match is and should be.

Both teams played well and in my opinion this game was exciting to watch, despite the end result.

You guys really need to learn to not be pessimistic all the time.

Sure we didn't get the result we wanted, but I bet you even the Japanese and Koreans aren't this critical and pessimistic of their teams like we are. And that's one of the biggest reasons why we fail when we should prevail.
Why are we leaving Waff so we can play the likes of Afghanistan? WHY?

When we thrash all the teams in CAFF the players will be cruising and be like 'khaste nabashe' until reality hits them and their in the senior team. Then, when they vs the likes of Japan and SK, they will have no experience in tough international matches. That is why WAFF is good for them. It fires them up against Arab teams.

Arabs did not and do not play fair. In Central Asia, Uzbekistan is a decent team. Our national team under CQ tied Turkmenistan. Gradually central Asia should invite other teams.

I am for splitting from Arab teams. Even their daman weather is not suitable.

Bye Bye Arabs. Welcome Tajik, Uzbek, and hopefully Azerbaijan and Arministan.

Not if Saudi Arabia beat Bahrain with a huge margin which is very likely to happen

its going to end 3-0 for the saudis at least since the bahrainis are already out anyway. They will running around then with the saudi flagg in theirs hands...lol

Yes, then people will finally understand why we left this joke of a federation called WAFF

Yes you are right! We are through as winner of the group or the best second team. In group A the last team's result will not count.

I get where you're coming from with all the "no this" & "no that".

But be honest. You don't think Motahari would be successful if he learned from AJ and SA and went to Europe? I think he would be.

The best 2nd place team goes through as well so Iran should at least get that no matter the rest of the results

Our players, individually, are technically gifted. Some more than others.

                            A pure example is Motahari.

But this team needs a better coach.

What a sensational and intelligent goal by Reza Shekari

                              2- 0 Iran

For those who have not seen him play. He is (at this age) at a better player than Javad Nekonaum. If he stays his course, he will be exceptional and one of our all-time greats, like Javad.

No doubt Bahrain will open her legs for Saudi Arabia.
