But be honest. You don't think Motahari would be successful if he learned from AJ and SA and went to Europe? I think he would be.

face it, our federation seems forver incapable of garnering sufficient friendlies for our national teams and we face these ayrab clowns far more often than Central asian foes in continental and wc competition..!! if anything add the Central asian tourney to it, the more the merrier..!!
so i gather we tied we couldnt hold on to a 2-0 lead and tied 2-2,,.! dammit this team got plenty talent even short handed but clearly lack experienced coaching and fitness, it was the same thing vs bahrain, hame boridan bad az halftime..!
still, a decent result vs a team we lost earlier to and one of pre-tournament favorite, with Omid missing many key players to senior TM and to the concurring U19 tourney..!!
Bahrain surely will lay dead now and allow 8-0ers to pummel them..!
fk it, still this was a good tuneup tourney for Olympic Qualification..!
you never know,

I asked if you watched the game because you kept bringing up Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Sardar Azmoun and how horribly we played against Saudi Arabia.
I don't see how what I asked you was uncivilized. If you ask me, you saying "no i was dancing tango with your aunt maybe" was very rude and unnecessary.
If you read every one of my posts you'd know I wasn't just talking about Motahari.
Take it easy man. Nobody is being emotional. You don't have to respond to me anymore.

Once again Khakpour failed . Expecting more from him is wrong. Yesterday game versus KSA exposed further his weakness.
His team was unable to beat weaker Saudi team. His team physically was not where it supposed to be despite hiring foreign physical trainer. His game predictable and dull and his subs wrong.
TM Olympic team despite many good players is unbalanced and weak at MF in particular.
Base on last two games, U23 is not a 90 min team and will fail again should stay on the same course.
Khakpour is a good man but unable to build a winning team.
He is there without a contract because IFF unable to hire a better coach .
Kafashian has given power and authority to Kashani to Manage Olympic team. Kashani is the man who do the fundraising and hire/fire the coach. Kashani and Khakpour are close friends( same with Kohan) and nothing going to change till after Olympic qualification games in Qatar.
Kakhpour was unable to beat KSA even with Turabi, Kanani, JB & Azmoon , Norollahi ,playing at home and there is no good reason he can do better in January.

According to a report there is a concerns that WAFF officials ( Qatar & Jordan) may not follow standard practice for selection of 2nd team.
Standard practice is when groups are not equal they will not consider results against last team of larger group.
Concern is that Waff decide to fabricate a different standard to make sure Iran does not advance.
Concerns
If they follow the stated rules, Iran has already advanced.
From WAFF official page-Regulation-
hree group winners and the best runner up from all groups will qualify to the knockout stage, group A winner will play against best runner-up and Group B winner will play against Group C winner. If the best runner-up is from Group A; then the winner from Group A will play against Group C winner, and group B winner will play against the best runner-up in the semi finals.
Due to the varying number of teams per group, teams in different groups would have played different number of matches. Therefore, in order to ensure equality when comparing the runner-up teams of all the groups, all teams will be compared across similar number of matches. WAFF will decide on the number of matches. In principle, the results of the matches between the runner-up team and the bottom placed team in the group will be considered null and void. All points, goal scored and goals conceded in this match will not be taken into account.
The losing teams from the semis will play to determine the third place winner, while the winners will play in the final to determine the champions and runner-ups.
