Same here. amazing to see a person who does not belong or have any root to this country, feel so close and attached. I genuinely CQ has a sense of nationalism towards iran and regards it as his second home.

Is this one of the TM youth squads? Also Khatibi showed up, that's pretty neat. I like that there is some kinsmanship between the national team and some of the league's managers (Daei, Golmohammadi and Mansurian come to mind)

true, but the popular Portuguese White kits are often of similar color combo..!

Some of the new players (new TM players) who was playing rondo with Ashkan were complaining because he was passing the ball to hard to them.

and we wonder why they cant go to Europe to play football!

I wonder if CQ has done his homework studying the opposition. He strikes me as a perennial lethargic, so I am not sure what to think.

LOL. Aziz what are you saying? This man is a tactical genius. You don't coach real madrid by being lethargic. Alex Ferugson said CQ was one of the most intelligent and responsible coaches. Ali Karimi said CQ stayed up pretty much all day studying and analyzing films

In terms of Pre-Game preparations and scouting work, he is second to none..!!
but tactically speaking seems One-dimensional to me..!
often, he prepares and has 1 overall game tactics for a game, but IF his original game-plan doesnt pan out, he hasnt seemed very capable of changing TM tactics drastically by just using his bench, nor has he proven to have any noticeable, Pre-rehearsed Plan B for his TM ..!!

It's meant to represent the Iranian flag. It was gifted to all WC coaches in Brazil with the corresponding flag, because Hublot sponsored the WC.

You nailed it. He seems like he does his "homework", understands the opposition and prepares the team for it with proper training that is available to him. BUT, I feel like he is lacking in "on the spot" changes if his original plan doesn't come into fruition.
