often, he prepares and has 1 overall game tactics for a game, but IF his original game-plan doesnt pan out, he hasnt seemed very capable of changing TM tactics drastically by just using his bench, nor has he proven to have any noticeable, Pre-rehearsed Plan B for his TM ..!!--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

I dont know if I am alone to think that you guys are underestimating him as a coach.
Everyone can have B or C plan, then you need players matching it.
Do you really think Carlos Queiroz, international famous coach with demonstrated records, is not able to have alternate plans?
Even children playing Fifa games with PS4 have B plans.

That just goes to show that he's not keeping himself abreast of his players' situations. JB was again on the list 5 days before an important match, but he's not even fit to play. Unlike most NT coaches, he has rarely been to the stadium this year to evaluate his options before he picks the players - he always sends his assistants to do the job. He wasn't even there for Naft's ACL match this week - never mind the 3 weeks of league matches he missed while on vacation.
And frankly, I didn't see anything in either the Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan matches that suggested he was familiar with his opponents and knew their weaknesses. And let's face it, it shouldn't have been that hard to figure out Turkmenistan's weaknesses when even Guam were able to break them down and register a victory with mostly amateur players.
I hope I'm wrong and now that he has returned from vacation hopefully refreshed, things are going to be different. But in his latest interview, he still sounded more like the ingenious gentlemen Don Quixote fighting windmills, than an ingenious coach in charge of Asia's highest ranked team getting ready to take on a couple of minnows.Last edited by Bi-honar; 08-30-2015, 08:15 AM.
