Hajsafi was never the best player in TM or Sepahan. There is a reason why he spent 7 years in IPL. As long as he can be a serviceable player on Frankfurt roster he should be happy.

      Well my tought is:

      1. Hajsafi is int like Shojaei and Alireza, gifted offensive player. It is easier to show off when you have good extremely good ball control. Players like Karimi, Azizi could show off some extreme moves and.... Same with Mahadavikia and his pace. Now, Hajsafi is team player that fill a role in a team. He is like a player that will make the engine work.

      2. Hajsafi went to late to Europe. He would learn faster and would be more hungry if he came early. At same time the club would buid you up, at this point, Frankfurt expect results from Hajsafi

      3. Its great to see him come out, and this will benefit him and TM. Imagine the tempo, tactical quality, physical training, pitches and attitude.

2 Bundesliga is f far bether place to imporve then IPL

Watching these players struggle in Europe really makes you appreciate the type of talent Mahdavikia was. A class above the rest of these players.

Who was the best then? Hajsafi was clearly the best player @ sepahan. Watch Hajsafi perfomance against Argentina, which player of Sepahan could do that?

The stability that Hashemian, Daei, Mahdavikia, Nekonaum, Shojaei brought was incredible. Especially in their European careers.

How is he struggling? Please enlighten me on how you came to the conclusion that he's already struggling

didnt see the game, but from the bit of highlights, it seemed like he had another semi-solid game, especially in his weaker LB position..!!
he coulda/shoulda done better on that Own-goal clearance, sorta tried to get fancy with the clearance and end up taping it in...!!
regardless, its hard to imagine that he wouldnt continue to retain his starting status in this talent-starved team for the foreseeable feature, especially considering their utter-hapless backline ..!!

with the shitt quality of keeper and backline @ his disposal, I think FSV coach best off pushing Ehsan more upfield and adapting a more offensive tactics rather than pulling back and relying on not conceding....!!

I know you haven't even watched one of Sepahan's games in full unless they play against pp & Es so stop right there. I didn't even mention TM. Ehsan without a doubt this season has been Sepahan's BEST player.

Their team is always late to the ball, their coach is not very good with defense it seems.

I've seen all of his matches so far, I would summarize his strength and weaknesses like this:

                      +
                      ball control and handling
                      passing
                      work rate
                      stamina
                      exceptional long throws
                      crossing
                      great overall technique
                      fitness

                      -
                      speed
                      marking
                      tackling
                      overall very weak in 1vs1's

Imo he has the abilities of being a great DM if he would work a little on his tackling abilities.
He is simply to slow to play LB, + he is the type of player always wanting to avoid man vs man situations.

I know he hasn't been given enough time for us to judge his success yet, however according to his player rating he is on a bad form to start he's career. Lets not forget that this is the 2nd division. I'd expect more on the stats sheets so far.

I don't know why people talk about Hajsafi as someone who should mark players, tackle or play defensively?!!! The guy is a "forward"!!! If anything he should work on his speed! and he should be playing as a LAM!

Playing Hajsafi in LB is like playing Messi in LB. Yes, Messi will probably do well because he's a good player but overall you will have wasted a lot of his abilities.

BTW....what is the difference between stamina and fitness in football?

                            Comment

Stamina refers to how long a player can last at the rate they start the match. Fitness refers to their actual attributes, like sprint speed, strength, agility

I think it is pivotal to remember that EH's new team is a mid-table one. Their goal is to stay in 2. Bundesliga, and their players , budget clearly reflect that.So it is evident that while they will win 50-60 % of games, they will lose a bit as well. They bought ehsan because he is versatile as he can easily play left back, left mid, left wing, defensive mid, and centre mid. It was like covering three or four positions in one purchase. Therefore we should not be so disappointed and freaked out if he is not performing excellently at LB. We know his best position is wing or central midfield and the coach does too. His job atm is to perform as good as possible at left back, stay solid, until he can move back into his preferred position(s) when the left back is ready again, (match fit). ATM his team is performing right at their expectations in slightly higher mid-table.
