Hopefully Hajsafi leaves this garbage league and team to a first tier league at least. Dutch or Russian division would be good if not something higher. I don't like the idea of our players playing 2nd tier football.

Well done Ehsan, he tried a shot similar to that a few games ago too, so you know it wasn't a fluke. I wish he was allowed to play in midfield i feel like it is a big waste to have him as LB, he could have far more shooting opportunities. Regardless this goal will get him noticed, well done!! In 2010-2011 Sepahan easily won the PGL and in ACL they were grouped in the group of death with Al-Hilal, Al-Gharafa and Al-Jazira.
Al-Hilal was the Saudi champions and the semi-finalists of the edition before (they lost to ZZ back then) and had one of the best squads in whole Asia with players like Lee, Radoi, Wilhelmsson, many Saudi NT players and Gabriel Calderon as their coach. Al-Gharafa had players like Juninho, Younes Mahmous, Diane (former PSG) and their coach was Bruno Metsu if I remember correctly.
Anyway, like you said, Sepahan crushed the group, finishing on top and defeating Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. Not only the results were good, I remember that they played one of the best football I have ever seen from any Iranian team, dominating every team (even Al-Hilal in their home)!
After the group stages, they easily beat Bunyodkor in the next round by 2 or 3 goals after which GN left the club and the whole shit with Al-Sadd happened.Persian Pride running through my veins!
