He's good enough for any club in the Dutch, Greek, Belgian or that type of leagues. Unfortunately he is a quitter and heads back to Stephan after only 1 year. Another player goes to waste. He is the new Navidkia: Stephan > Bochum > Sepahan.

i honestly think, he has a bit better chance of retaining his TM spot, if he can lead the line at Sepahan, start most all their games and prove a marquee star there with a some goals to boot, than going to some below avg. European league (like the Greek league which in my limited viewing seems hardly more competitive than the IPL), making less than 1/4 of money and may be even getting frequently benched and not get enough game time to remain sharp and in-form..!
like i said before, as an iranian international his marketing worth to decent EU clubs is rather nominal and his overall pure Football offerings just isnt good enough to play at such levels game in/game out, despite what his immense Int. Exp. at still somewhat of a young age may suggest..!!
Btw Greek super league is still better than PGPL on many aspects : Better coaches, betters facilities and Hajsafi won't get to play vs teams like Olympiakos, Panathinaikos , AEK in Iran...

Iranian football fans even on this forum continue to show that their knowledge of the leagues and IPL is trash. Bundesliga 2 is by far a stronger league than IPL. In every aspect! Any of IPLs top teams would be lower table and relegation sides in BL2.
Greek league is also much better than IPL. Please get your heads out of your behinds and accept the fact that IPL is not a strong league, is hardly professional, lacks good coaches, good facilities, and good environment. Hajsafi moving back to IPL is a disaster in every aspect.
I will gladly watch Mohammadi take his spot if this is true.

Mohammadi is more of a leftback than Hajsafi is anyways. Now that he's there in TM, Hajsafi should play in the left midfield just like he did in the WC. Then he will have to compete with Amiri and Torabi (both of whom are in Iran) and maybe Dejagah (who might not even be in good form by playing in Qatar). So even looking from TM point of view, things look ok for him to come back.
If he didn't have ok-ish offers which I think he didn't, I think he did the right thing to come back.

Does he have any serious offers? If not his options are limited.
I agree that playing in Bundesliga 2 or even a mid/bottom table first league team from greece/nederlands/russia/Belgium/portugal... is far more beneficial for his progress.
We all now Ehsan's quality, but we also need to appreciate that a non-EU player from a team relegated to Bundesliga 3 is not the most attractive purchase for European clubs.
No matter where he ends up, I respect Ehsan's effort to remain in Europe. If IPL was his first option, hecould have easily signed a big contract with Esteghlal or Tractor before the start of the season. I still hope he can find a team in Europe.

You guys need to distinguish between a real chicken and quitter like Taremi and the ones who actually have tried their best to stay in Europe but couldn't.
As said, if Hajsafi was a quitter, he would have come to Iran and signed with Sepahan directly after the season was finished. The reason he stayed in Europe was to try to find an offer. I'm sure the offers you think he had wasn't good enough or else he would have stayed.

Sometimes I wonder how CQ is communicating with these players at a crossroads between coming home and going/staying in Europe. I'm wondering if CQ was communicating with Ehsan in the last month.
If I'm him I talk to my players and if they are given a European offer, I tell them to take it."I'm here to clean the carpets. Most of the world is carpeted. And, one day, we will do the cleaning."

BL2 is clearly a big level above that of IPL..!!
Not so sure about the Greek's league though..!!?? but True that i'd still prefer our TM prospects playing in any European league over wasting away in IPL, because "THE APPROACH TO playing the GAME " in EU's even Tokhmy leagues are Far more Modern and in-tune to where the game is headed than in iran..!!
and if i could read well between the lines?? (which i believe im pretty good @) more probably the Only legitimate European Ehsan got all this offseason was the Greek one and most probably, even that interest musta been mild with very meager salary as i dont think that broke-ass league/country's clubs would spend much especially for an avg. quality Defender..!! any big money by their standards are reserved for Higher profile Attacking players..!

Lol at the people who think that the IPL is debatable with 2. Bundesliga... hell, even in 3. bundesliga, IPL teams would be bottom table... But oh well, Ehsan tried to stay in Europe I guess. It's sad that his talent isn't going to be harvested in Europe, but at least he didn't get Bache Nane Syndrome and snub a team like Taremi did with Caykur. Good luck with Sepahan Ehsan

It's not a done deal yet, I've read that Ehsan is still waiting for European teams to respond, while he is having personal training in Esfahan. If a transfer to Europe fells through, he will negotiate with Sepahan.
Whatever happens, I can't blame him if Europe doesn't work out. It's the third time after WC, that he tries to find a European team and the best he could find were bottom table 2nd division clubs, that's not his caliber.
Hell, Taremi, who barely has 10 NT caps and a few ACL appearences received offers from decent Liga Adelante, Primeira Liga and Greek Super League sides.
Good luck Ehsan, wherever you go

IPL is not a good league but at least it's not at the level of the, let's say Indonesian league either!

Of course not, and of course he has to take offers from decent leagues like Greece, Turkey, Belgium and even more Holland if they exist, which is a big if as nothing really concrete was announced.
Otherwise shame to European teams for wasting such an opportunity to engage a talented, young and already full of experience player which is very professional for an Iranian player and has great motivation to contribute for his team, even if it is not at his true positions.
Of course at Sepahan the level will be very different, but still he will play his true game and won't waste his time when you know that no decent proposition will come for obvious mostly non-sportive reasons. If he goes to Europe it is to progress and succeed there, not to play the garbage guy.
He had really great courage to accept that proposition from FSV Frankfurt, while many stupid people would make fun of him because they don't live in real world and believe you can jump from PP to Real as they are brainwashed by constant BS rumors from garbage news networks, but he accepted to play 1 year in a lower division in order to get what he deserves. I believe that he had done his part of the contract, even though it wasn't even at a position he can play but he still succeeded there, unfortunately it is a hard time for Iranian players.
If he hasn't any serious and decent proposition, I hope for him to regain his level in Iran and play somewhere in accordance to his level. I am sure that he will help Sepahan a lot, and some people forget that during the first month of last year's season of IPL he was just on fire and the best player by far of the league. This Ehsan will help our NT much more than the one who was playing LB football for a below average Bundesliga 2 team. If he hadn't say that it is either Europe or Sepahan, it would have been great to see him playing in J League or K League.
And we have a lot of good alternatives at LB: Ansari (PP), Kaebi (SS K) or Aghaei (Teraktor) among others.
