I liked the movement and pace of the team (thanks to shojaei for screwing up one too many games to finally get dropped). Lots of movement down the flanks, plus overlaps that shows good cohesion among the team.
Some nifty passing that was extremely welcome.

But lets not lose focus. This was the lowly Guam. I would be extremely happy if we could repeat this kind of movement and passing against Asia's bigger teams. If we do, then bravo to CQ to finally transform TM



Lets not be too harsh on Taromi too. Lets give the lad a few more games to evaluate his worth. These could be early jitters.
He showed promise nevertheless.

he didnt really have to deal with much. two crosses came in and he dealt with them ! nothing spectacular. therefore i gave him a 7. not bad not good. didnt really have to save anything.

6 Is pretty much average. I gave 7 as he had few nice long throws to start 2 quick dangerous counters.

1) I give Berianvand a solid 10, he made standing around look good! JK. I was glad to see him start, I have a lot of faith in him and think he can go far.
2) I'm gonna give Azmoun a 7, I still can't figure out why he can't play a full 90 minutes. He could've scored a couple of other goals if he stayed in.
3) Taremi a 8, he hustled a lot, but messed up a good few times too. His passes didn't seem to connect that well.
