Great! Now we should bid for the WC 2054, the stadium will be done since then alongside Naghshe Jahan, Minarood, the seats at Azadi's 2nd floor and the Foolad stadium

      Hope I'm wrong though

What would the purpose of this stadium be when it's finished?

All TM games and eses/pespes games will be held in Azadi anyways.

teams like naft/rah ahan can play in a great facility and can attract more fans as it is in the middle of the city. tehran needs a 3rd team.

Back in the day Esteghlal played many games there. It was almost as if Azadi was Persepolis's stadium and Amjadieh Esteghlal's.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

This is good news. My question is why a 10-15k seater? Why not 20-30k?

Are Amjadiyeh & Azadi two different stadiums? I always thought that Amjadiyeh was renamed to Azadi after 1979.

Before the revolution Azadi was called Aryamehr Stadium. Amjadieh is now called Shiroudi Stadium.

With seats installed, it can only take that much.

I have good memories of that stadium. Not because i went inside but my uncle's house was right across the street. It was a high rise complex, i think 3 bldgs or something. I remember few times that i went to his place and you could hear the stadium and watch on tv, i was so excited as a child. I dont get why there arent more stadiums in tehran. Its shameful for such big nation.
