    The danger of Iran-Japan Friendly

    Guys,

i think there is a danger of Iran-Japan Friendly.

I think Japan use this friendly specially to win the match and collect most possible points against us for FIFA Ranking and we lose points.

Japan had a PRE-Azadi game, a advantage, against Afghanistan. Now they will come to face us.

We must be careful not to lose this game, because of possible FIFA Ranking will count for last group stage, as we can become/stay in Pot 1 as best asian team and No.2 will be either Japan, Australia or probably Korea.

But if we lose this match, and other collect points, probably we can land in Pot 2 for last and final draw?

We must be careful of this situation.

If we're gonna be a pussy about any matches in Asia, we don't deserve to be ranked first anyways (personally I think we should be third behind Australia and Japan).

Japan got eliminated from the asian cup by the same UAE that we defeated, they are not much of a danger.

Take challenges head on and prove your worth. If TM really deserves to be ranked 1 in Asia, than having a friendly match against Japan shouldn't be an issue. On top of that, the ranking system is silly, and Iran needs to play quality friendly matches to improve.

We won't lose in Azadi if we take the match seriously and play the best 11.

Hopefully JB will be 100% fit by that time as well, we will give them a match I'm certain

So finally we get to play Japan in a friendly on our own turf and you want to chicken out? c'mon man!
If there's one team in Asia we need to play more often its Japan.

People may be surprised how well we play against Japan.

Our Team Melli may be inexperienced, but most of the team consists of talented youngsters willing to step up to the plate.

They need friendlies like this one, to really gain experience and understand how to connect with one another. Chemistry is key.

I think this will be an interesting match to watch. I also think we should not worry about the FIFA rankings and losing to Japan.

I believe a friendly against a strong Asian football team like Japan is a necessity.

Did you watch the game? I think most of our fans skipped it because of Ben Williams show. That was a miracle that could happen once in 30 matches. Japan outshot UAE about 30-1 and UAE didn't have a single corner.

Squad wise clearly they are better than us when you look at the number of players in the top European leagues. We need to be careful of Kagawa. He stagnated after moving to Manchester United but now he has regained his old form when he won the MVP in Bundesliga.

We finally have a semi-quality friendly and some are worried about the outcome. Why are we even going there?

hmmm Since when Japan was a big deal. Alright they are good but come on, if we can defeat the champions of South America; Chile 2-0 ; Japan should not be a dangerous team playing us at home; unless we arrange our B squad team; not playing Gucci, dejagah, and the rest... And yes , yes, yes ; it is a friendly; can go either way ...Big teams in Asia playing each other is always fun to watch and at the end of the day, one will come out as a winner; hopefully it should be us, if not, learn and move on like Chile! friendlies are to learn....
