This Azmoun and Taremi duo upfront makes me really excited and hopeful about our goal scoring potential finally. I see them as the best pair of strikers we've had since Daie and Azizi.

I know they haven't contributed to TM nearly as much yet but trust me they'll get there if they both stay healthy. As far as character and work ethic, I am not worried about Azmoun at all but Taremi's personality is a bit of a question mark for me but I hope he has the drive and levelheadedness which Sardar definitely seems to have.

For some reason, I don't trust Taremi against a solid team like Japan. Scoring 1 or 2 out of 20 shots on India and Guam is one thing, but against Japan you only get maybe one chance and I doubt he will finish. I'd love to be wrong though!

i agree , our first two are gucci and azmoun, then taremi, the fact i would put gucci first cause the guy can still score and is better at holding the ball, azmoun is good but physically not strong yet, we can play them both up front will be a real danger
