^^i am sorry but this is totally out of place. this is not a time for Kor Kori during your husbands morning.

sometimes i feel we do not know the correct time and place for things and this is one of those situations.

Why on earth would you expose kids so young to this kind of behavior? It's bad enough that they've lost their father, now they'll have to deal with the emotional scars etched into their memory as a result of the ass-backward way most Iranians grieve the loss of a loved one.

Although earlier on Noroozi's family stated that the wife's gesture had nothing to do with the number 6, and she was merely showing her wedding ring to the cameras... I don't know if I can subscribe to the claim...

I am with you man. I remember back in the days in Iran, they would take us from the elementary school to cemeteries to participate in the burial ceremonies of some of the kids who were killed in the Iraqi Jets bombings of the city, and then scenes I witnessed as a kid in those ceremonies, especially the grieving of the families and the brutal burial ceremony (The body of the deceased wrapped in a white sheet, and how disrespectfully they threw the corpse into the grave etc) I better stop right here before it gets to graphic to describe the whole process.

To cut the story short, since then I have been traumatized and have always had a phobia with Iranian cemeteries, whereas here in the West, cemeteries are often peaceful and beautifully maintained...

          Sorry for the deviation folks!

All of these returned negative which meant he had no heart issues, the poor guy literally dropped dead one night. Really strange how this could have happened.
That is really strange that he just dropped dead.. Do you have the source?

something is not right about Norouzi's passing. I just feel it in my gut.

No disrespect to the family and friends of captain either. It just feels weird.

You forgot another bit, being able to go and see the deceased being washed before being wrapped with the white cloth...and the hysterical crying of the females...

                        Yeah, very sad..

I was shocked and sad but I didn't cry. After watching that Navad segment, I just couldn't help but cry.

there is a piece from IRINN on Iran Football Magazine on FB which talked about why athletes sometimes just die.

The Team body builder/trainer should be asked about the rigorous exercise that Captain Noroozi may have done before the tragedy. Pushing yourself to the limit sets the foundation for the heart's next move.

Please let this thread rest in peace. He was a good man and everyone miss him. God bless his family but please let us move on. It makes me depressed every time I remember this tragedy. It is really sad to see a young man dies in this manner.
