VERY poor half from TM.

I almost wish we were at the point we were 9-10 months ago, when we could say it's the same old same old predictable tactics - because that would at least suggest we had some tactics!

We've had nothing to show in this match so far - nothing, nada, nilch. And I don't buy this argument that Oman have suddenly become Germany or Spain. We're playing so poorly that we're making them look that way.

We started way too lethargically and our slow-reaction players are getting juked left and right. The Omanis are physically weak and keep grassrolling, but they have speed and are fast on the break. Not the best defending either from Montazeri, Ghafouri & Teymourian, but it's still 0-0. Hajsafi & Amiri have been lively on the attack.

Besides those who are clearly on their period, there are some outside factors that no one is taking into consideration. Its 90% humidity over there right now; the pitch is very bobbly, you can't play a straight pass without it bouncing; its an away game.

No one is playing well, besides Sardar who is trying to do something... I'd want to see AliShah come in for Amiri.... We also need Dejagah to step it up and he looked tired and unfit from minute 5.

BTW, few days ago I said all Arab teams play Iran for a tie. Things have changed. Iran now plays the mighty Oman for a tie. Way to go Iran.

Queiroz's tactics are starting to piss me off. What happened to the attacking Team Melli we used to see before him? I know our defense has improved and that Oman is a more formidable opponent than the other teams in the group, but we need to show more grit and determination. Some ground passing & off the ball running!
