Thankfully I don't think it will be to this extent, one thing I noticed is that Qatar mostly (obviously, not always, there is a good number of south american naturalized players) naturalizes "Muslim" players from countries where muslims represent a big portion of the population, so that the names sound more natural... Players from Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Congo DR, Guinea, Sudan, Senegal mostly fill up their recent squads.

Probably just a trick to make it sound more legit, less ridiculous.

Yeah lets invite Edinho who plays in Qatar. I am sure he loves Iran with all his heart. We can also neutralize some South Americans and Africans while we are at it too. Would be a nice combo. Havent you guys seen the Toure and Fernandinho combo at Manchester City?

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

With the right player culture and less corruption, we wouls beat any team from South America or Europe on our day. The best 11 Argentinians couldnt beat us if they didnt have the best player on earth.

The best African players(Nigeria) huffed and puffed but couldnt score. Do we need players from these countries? No. Not at all.

Well apparently the majority of Iranians share my opinion, which makes my opinion matter more than yours in this case here in the 21st century, that's the sad reality for you. Now why don't you get your sorry hairy ass out of here and support a country like Qatar and don't forget to jump up and down when some random guy named luis amarillo (who's been living in Qatar for 2 years and doesnt give a shit about Qatar other than money) scores for your new nation

Actually most of the 21st century countries agree.
In most modern countries citizenship takes 4-10 years of residency so it gives the applicant a chance to actually care for that nation and adapt - not just be a mercenary.
Perhaps you should cheer for Qatar or Bahrain.

if you are born in Iran, you are iranian in my books. If you have at least one Iranian parent, you are Iranian as well. At the moment though, we dont need kharejis, in fact keeping our team a team of Iranians is more unique nowadays anyways.

I personally think the definition of country is changing drastically and will change in the future.
Countries a few centuries ago were a representation of a group of people sharing certain ethnically similarities "Same blood", in a general perspective. However, with the refugees and fast pace traveling options and business expansion this concept is slowly fading away (look at Germany, UK, Canada and US, Japan,Spain).
The definition of country is now changing slowly to a group of people who share certain cultural practices and values and food/music preferences. This will also change by the end of this century as cultures will slowly intermingle and unify in a fluidic singularity via help of computational and technological tools.

So, should "foreigners" be allowed into TM?
I think about what a nation means. I think the current term 'nation' describes cultural practice and values. If a person who has lived in Iran and really embraces the Iranian culture and values they should be able to play for TM.
                        EAT. SLEEP. TM. REPEAT.

That's what I meant from the first place. If someone stays in Iran long enough (5+ years) they should be allowed to play for Iran. Maybe I should have made that clear.

Yeah nobody really cares if you're unique, people care if you're football is good. Germany's football is good and they get respected. That's what I want, if any good foreigners do show up in IPL who have lived in Iran for 5 years or so and want to play for us, by all means we should let them. Maybe people will also start to realize Iran's not a complete shithole like Saudi Arabia and whatnot. It can only make us better as a nation.
