Friendly Game: Iran - Japan @ Azadi Stadium, Tehran; 13-10-2015
Japanese were lethargic and very busy to deal with Iran physical and height superiority. However they are technically more accurate technically and some of their counterattack resulting from our silly passes to no one were extremely dangerous.
We clearly lack precision and intelligence in our attack construction to create chances. Dejagah stubbornly insisting on a side busy of opponent where there is clearly space on the other side.... or iranian player doing an unprecise control/pass/bad choice when they have time to think and focus.
Amiri, iranian Di Maria. MVP.
Haghighi a huge mistake but a good save after. CQ clearly missing a chance to test Beiranvand.

Disappointed by the weak attendance.
Agreed, Amiri was absolutely fantastic. Him and Torabi MoM for me. Torabi 21 years old, 5 caps 3 goals as a RM and RB
Ezzatollahi and Ebrahimi did a great job controlling the midfield as well, I'm reassured by seeing this kind of performance against a bunch of Bundesliga players, without Ando and Nekounam. It shows that it will get better with time and these two will eventually be replaced.
Was I the only one who was surprised how weak Japan were in airspace? Azmoun really had a day off, luckily for the Japanese, cause they were very weak in air, and not tall at all, while the South Korean team is very physical and tall.
Overall a very good game by Iran. We pressed well, passed well and used the width of the pitch in attack. No many long balls and tried to keep the ball on the ground. Our players were much more technical than the Japanese players and didn't let the Japanese settle. You could see the Japanese coach getting frustrated as his plans were not being executed. The passing game that the Japanese try to implement was disrupted over and over again and they had no other plan per say. I was really impressed that our young players, especially Ezzatolahi, were not overawed by the Japanese and when in procession took them on, and in most cases won and came up with the pass. I was also impressed at the fitness level of our players, we did not run out of gas until the end, especially Amiri as he was running up and down like a hare.
Many good signs there. Its a new team with young players, if allowed to develop to their potential the immediate future of TM is good. We have a team of players that will work together well under a good coach in CQ. Thank you TM.
Lol obviously you've never seen him play. He is shit my friend
Lol, and our current options are that much better? Davari could hold his own against Borussia Dormund just a little over 1 year ago. Have you ever watched him play other than that 1 Thailand game. His defense last year at Grasshopper was shite, just like when he played for TM and was stuck with Alenemeh and Khanzadeh playing defense in front of him, and he sucks. He was scapegoated for a shitty underperforming squad last year and that has hurt his career. At least he has a chance of playing this year, Haghighi seems to be Kazan's third string. Davari may yet return to form. You judging him on a couple of TM matches and a season last year when his team played 15 games without him in goal and equally sucked, you're a ________. There is no word for that level of stupidity. I'm not saying your stupid, just your comment is very childish and you are obviously a massive hater. Sardar has screwed up recently for both club and country, how would you feel if I said he is shit? Id be a retard right?
Yeah, that's how you sound when you bash Davari, when he was doing more last year than any of our current players can even dream. Playing top flight Bundesliga football, and being the main catalyst for that promotion. Don't let a few months of bad luck based on transferring to a shitty Swiss club make you as biased as you are.
Wow what a difference in quality. Seems like Japan brought their own filming crew? Looks like the angles and views are different than that of the IRIB's?
Oh man, I just noticed the equalizer was an own goal, we scored on ourselves!
Honda refusing to grab our player's hand (Who was it anyway?) who offered him a lift was totally uncalled for and unsportsmanship. Such an arrogant individual!
Not sure why davari's name is even being mentioned the guy's got to be 7th or 8th on the gk depth chart at this point. I dont even think he's played in a competitive game in the past 12 months.
It was a real exciting match to watch, especially the first half where we dominated and were unlucky not to lead 2-0. The only disappointment was the turn out by the fans. They missed a great spectacle..that's their loss!

Fairly sure our current goalie hasn't played in a competitive club match for a few months either. Also, CQ choices to start aren't necessarily an indication of the best choices. People have been in agreement that Beitashour is in form the last few months and he's not being invited either. So, yeah. Your opinion is worth as much as my toilet paper. In your opinion and certain members who have been haters from day one, Davari is crap. I think every one of our players has good and bad days. Some of you think Davari is shit, yet Haghighi isn't. Tell me one player on our team who is consistent and I'll fly and kiss your ass. Problem is, even in today's game, we saw players like Dejagah and Torabi have drastic changes in form between the first and second half. Some people think our players are studs, and "can pass and are properly trained, but then they recede to the background when they see how inconsistent our players are. A certain member literally called out "lol, and people think TM can't pass." We then proceed to allow a tokhmi GK error goal, and our form dropped in the second half. Our players have poor conditioning, are often physically weak, and have problems with ball control and passing. Torabi played well in the first half, but was losing the ball more than his share of times in the second half.
My point is, all of our players are inconsistent. This is a product of poor football fundamentals and training. They get gassed easily, and when they aren't mentally in the game, they screw up. Davari is not 7th in the pecking order. Neither is Beitashour 7th. Beita can compete with Ghafouri and Rezaeian for the first position. Davari can too, they are not invited for a reason.
Haghighi starting these games despite his many mistakes shows our current GK options. Davari could not be worse than our current situation.
Again, tell me why Davari is a bad goalie, and I'll run your dense and low brow comments down. You will say, but, Gah boss, he's a statue! Gahuh, Z Joon and Doctor Doom said so!" And I'll explain to you how he carried Braunschweig into the Bundesliga with terrific play in 2013. Made a mistake to move to Grasshopper in 2014. A team that benched him after 9 games, then proceeded to suck with the other goalie due to the fact that their defense was shit. He was scored on in TM in games where Alenemeh and Khanzadeh were playing in front of him. Anyone who can deny any of these points please do. You can't because many of you are typical xenophobes who dismiss Biranvand's mistakes in the league and ACL, but for some reason think he is light years ahead of Davari. When he starts, he will make mistakes and you will all continue to just be dumb reactionary fans.
Davari made one mistake, going to Grasshopper. If he'd stayed with Braunschweig, he'd have kept his starting position. You all want him to fail, and it's been clear from the day his name was brought up on PFDC.
A goddamn Bundesliga 2 player on TM!!!!!!! We're almighty TM.
Now we're happy if our player can prevent a 4-0 loss in a Bundesliga 2 team. I really despise and would hate to know any of you in real life. You all seem either really stupid, and ignore these glaring facts, or are so stubborn, you just want to hate for the sake of hating.
Nobody has ever given me a reason why Davari is shit. So, somebody, please tell me. He makes mistakes, and which Iranian GK doesn't? Obviously not Haghighi. The guy you all were gagging on his cock after our strongest defensive showing ever. He literally made 4-5 decent stops at WC and you were all 8 inches down his shaft as the second coming of Abedzadeh.
Ever sit back and think you guys are just reactionary and dumb? Think about it.
