The game started off slow, but we played relatively well defensively. The goal that they scored on us was hard to watch. They were better than us at counter attacking, short passes, and technique, but we took control of the majority of the game, we were clearly bigger and more physical. It is a shame that we didn't score off our set pieces. The game was very exciting and we did good job silencing their attack. However, we need to have our offense better sorted out, as our long throw ins, and crosses were very predictable. I was impressed with out youngsters, Japan barely threatened us. We had control for most of the game, we could have capitalized with a bit more focus and played better for a win but great friendly match.

So, yeah. Your opinion is worth as much as my toilet paper. In your opinion and certain members who have been haters from day one, Davari is crap. I think every one of our players has good and bad days. Some of you think Davari is shit, yet Haghighi isn't. Tell me one player on our team who is consistent and I'll fly and kiss your ass. Problem is, even in today's game, we saw players like Dejagah and Torabi have drastic changes in form between the first and second half. Some people think our players are studs, and "can pass and are properly trained, but then they recede to the background when they see how inconsistent our players are. A certain member literally called out "lol, and people think TM can't pass." We then proceed to allow a tokhmi GK error goal, and our form dropped in the second half. Our players have poor conditioning, are often physically weak, and have problems with ball control and passing. Torabi played well in the first half, but was losing the ball more than his share of times in the second half.
My point is, all of our players are inconsistent. This is a product of poor football fundamentals and training. They get gassed easily, and when they aren't mentally in the game, they screw up. Davari is not 7th in the pecking order. Neither is Beitashour 7th. Beita can compete with Ghafouri and Rezaeian for the first position. Davari can too, they are not invited for a reason.
Haghighi starting these games despite his many mistakes shows our current GK options. Davari could not be worse than our current situation.
Again, tell me why Davari is a bad goalie, and I'll run your dense and low brow comments down. You will say, but, Gah boss, he's a statue! Gahuh, Z Joon and Doctor Doom said so!" And I'll explain to you how he carried Braunschweig into the Bundesliga with terrific play in 2013. Made a mistake to move to Grasshopper in 2014. A team that benched him after 9 games, then proceeded to suck with the other goalie due to the fact that their defense was shit. He was scored on in TM in games where Alenemeh and Khanzadeh were playing in front of him. Anyone who can deny any of these points please do. You can't because many of you are typical xenophobes who dismiss Biranvand's mistakes in the league and ACL, but for some reason think he is light years ahead of Davari. When he starts, he will make mistakes and you will all continue to just be dumb reactionary fans.
Davari made one mistake, going to Grasshopper. If he'd stayed with Braunschweig, he'd have kept his starting position. You all want him to fail, and it's been clear from the day his name was brought up on PFDC.
A goddamn Bundesliga 2 player on TM!!!!!!! We're almighty TM.
Now we're happy if our player can prevent a 4-0 loss in a Bundesliga 2 team. I really despise and would hate to know any of you in real life. You all seem either really stupid, and ignore these glaring facts, or are so stubborn, you just want to hate for the sake of hating.
Nobody has ever given me a reason why Davari is shit. So, somebody, please tell me. He makes mistakes, and which Iranian GK doesn't? Obviously not Haghighi. The guy you all were gagging on his cock after our strongest defensive showing ever. He literally made 4-5 decent stops at WC and you were all 8 inches down his shaft as the second coming of Abedzadeh.
Ever sit back and think you guys are just reactionary and dumb? Think about it.
Also Beitashour isnt in form right now as you claim he's been injured on and off the last few weeks and has barely played.

I believe that if we give him several matches he can really become a big goalkeeper for Iran, his potential is really high.

Guillermo Ochoa is Mexico's best goalkeeper. He isn't starting at Malaga and the Mexico coach hasn't even called him up as one of the 3 goalkeepers lately.
Poor decisions = no game time. Haghighi should've transferred or asked to be loaned out. Because he didn't and isn't receiving regular game time at club level, someone else should take his spot.

Oh man, I just noticed the equalizer was an own goal, we scored on ourselves!
Honda refusing to grab our player's hand (Who was it anyway?) who offered him a lift was totally uncalled for and unsportsmanship. Such an arrogant individual!
Honda said the result was fair and that he liked Iran
In my opinion, no players of a rival team are as arrogant as the Koreans are when they face us.Last edited by teammelli91; 10-13-2015, 10:17 PM.
