Good line-up. Wish Ebrahimi wouldn't be there though.

Why PourAliGanji does not get invitation?

Where is Ando in this list?

Instead of Ebrahimi, should have used a young player.

Was not Azmoun injured in a warm up?

      The midfield is weak.

I prefer Pouraliganji for Ebrahimi on the DM position, we would have a very psychical and hard to break down midfield with his strength next to Saeid.

          1. no captin for such a difficult match !
          2. our right side is defensive players while our left side has players that love going forward. left side known to be a problem
either japan has a weak right side and CQ wants to take advantage of this or he doesn't care anymore and just wants players to get to learn the hard way how to defend

For the first time in years I'm extremely frustrated with CQ...3 out of the 4 players he has playing on the defensive line is a big ? for me. Nonetheless I hope to see a good game, this will be a great test for ezatolahi at DM

The midfield would be way too unstable, unbalanced and inexperienced in that case imo, Pouraliganji is also not the best passer. In this formation Ezzatollahi is taking a more defensive role ball-winning role while Ebrahimi will have to link the midfield plays.

As much as everyone for some reason hate Ebrahimi, he is a safe option and never has any major f*ck ups. He is the ideal player for CQ and there is a reason why he was constantly invited in his teams since 2012.

He hasn't had any f**k ups but I think the reason some may hate on him is because he's failed to link the midfield with the forward line or get anything going offensively the same way java do did for TM. It's an unfair expectation but that's what happens when you have big shoes to fill I guess.

Yeah that's true. But look at Ando's latest horrible run of games (basically since he moved to Qatar btw), he has been much worse than Ebrahimi yet some people here are wishing for him to play over Omid. It's a mystery for me, sometimes people "gir midan" to some specific players

But anyways, it's obvious that CQ really likes Ebrahimi and now the reality is that he has been judged good enough to start tomorrow.

Don't like to see players out of position (Hajsafi and Reazian). Where is Beiranvand?

Should make a combo of Hosseini with a young ones. It is time to promote some young players Carlos!

Rezaeian can play there, he played regularly in that position with Rah-Ahan, he will surely play as a Right midfielder and not really as a winger. I think that this can really work well as he is the best Iranian crosser IMO and this could work really great with Azmoun's aerial threat and the big height advantage that we have over Japanese players

I actually really like the lineup, it's a pretty physical one and counter-attack based, it's going to be effective vs Japan who usually struggle against such sides. I would have also preferred Beiranvand in goal too tho

I'm really looking forward to this game for saeid. This is his first legit opportunity against a strong opponent. It's time to see what this kid is really made of

You mean its kick and rush attack based lineup

I like the Ezatollahi move alot. Throw him in there and see how he does against top notch opposition. This is not a weak minded kid and his moves to Europe at such a young age is proof. I don't think he can be tested playing against India or Guam.

Ofcourse with Ezatollahi in the game, you have to take Ando out. It makes no sense to have Ezatollahi and Ando in the lineup at the same time. You're giving up too much speed which would be playing right into Japan's strength. I am not a fan of Ebrahimi and he certainly did have some bad moments against Oman, however, I don't think CQ has a choice. Ebrahimi is that "meeeh" kind of player. Nothing spectacular and certainly no where close to Nekounam, but, he is a safe option.
