The Mohammadi Twins are quick players because of their ages but they are not skilful finishers I guess. They do play very well untill close to the target but then they cant score as they should.

Well I must admit I have not seen long matches of these 2 Twins, the above opinion is based on highlights I have seen from them. I hope I am wrong however.

Having the Mohammadi twins play tougher is the equivalent of having the Sedin twins in hockey. That 6 sense synergy will be awesome to witness at a high level. They need to be invited to the camps so our trainers can work on further developing their skills.

Mehrdad is a striker, so it's going to be tough for him to break through in TM with Gucci, Azmoun, Taremi, Ansarifard, Rezaei, Sharifi. If he keeps his current form tho he might get few chances or at least couple of call-ups as 3rd striker.

He's one to watch for the future, he might just develop better than other more "mainstream" talents his age, we will see in the upcoming years

The reaons for that is simple. Footballers in Iran don't go through proper learning process. They learn how to dribble past 3-4 playres, but never learn the science of taking a shot. Look at Haj Agha Safi, as a member of our national team. This kid insists on taking shots, but only 1 out of his 10 may be on target. Not sure who told him he is good at taking the shots. When you watch him in slow motion, you can see his body position to the target, landing foot distance to the ball, bending ankles and knees are all in wrong positions. No wonder he shoots in the air. I have seen him sending a ball up at almot a 90 degree angel.

Does any coach in Iran know these things or they only know how to come on Barnameh 90 to Zer Zer !!!

He scored that beautiful goal against Bahrain in 2015 AFC and thinks all his shots will be on the money like that one.

unfortunately its not only hadji safi, very many of our players are this way, i would say maybe 90 percent of them....its ugly and not understandable at all....the hell i never got it why its this way. Just as i said I see it as an iranian soccer players desease...i hate it.

As you said Kavian, it might be the impact of too much gol kochik bazi and not proper modern football "sience" to use your term.

What the Mohammadi twins have that most other Iranian football players don't is their speed and technical ability. They are both comfortable in closed spaces and aren't afraid to dribble at the right time (when needed). No need to talk about their speed, it's evident in clips of them playing in the league and in the WAFF. They also have decent vision which can become even better and progress under the coaching of CQ. So to have them in the national team would be beneficial for both parties and makes sense.

I would play with the following 11:

Azmoun, and Husseini are out due to injury. JB is not fully recovered, Taremi on two cards. Is Rezaian on two cards two? (or he is on two cards for Hazfi cup)

Replace Azmoun with Kaveh Rezahi and Taremi with recovering Gucci. Husseini with Kanaani. Mohammadi in LB is a good approach but risky now. Turkmenistan scored a goal from our LB side so they are thinking to score again from this weak spot. Just like Hajsafi, Mohamadi loves to attack and Amiri not coming back, creates the same wrong combination (Amiri-Hajsafi). If CQ put Hajsafi in LW then Mohamadi in LB can a good test. Because Hajsafi has better defensive abilities compared to Amiri.
My suggestion is

Also Mosalman (AMF), Ahmadzadeh (RW/AMF) and Alipour(RW/SS) from Persepolis can help the team.
Maybe trust Pourgaz on CB if he is still in good shape.

Inviting back Motahari and Nariman Jahan should be on table too.

If SS does not bail TM then Cheshmi, Ebrahimi, Y.Karimi, Barzay and Shahbazzadeh will add to our power.
Right now we need a good LB, replacement for RB and CB to hold the defense and add more FW options.

I am sure you also have noticed that every game has its own dynamic and does not only depend on the strenght of the rivals. From the overall rating, Japan, S. Korea, Australia, and even to a great degree, Uzbakistan and Saudis would rate very similar. However, our games against any of these individual teams turns out to be very different, not only the final score, but how we play against them. Their style changes our style and eventually influences the score. I think we should really study and mock playing against teams like Turkimenstan, Oman, Jordan, Syria, etc., and hold our judgement about these teams, because we think they are stronger or weaker than us.

We should destroy Turkmenistan for their grass-rolling and changing the venue to a border town with an awful pitch in first leg. If it was up to me I would have chosen Abadan for venue and had invited as many khuzestani players as I could for that match.
