It really doesn't matter who is the kit sponsor as long as they look good, are good quality and are comfortable for the players.
Whats the point of being with Nike or Adidas if their gonna give us ugly cheap kits?!! Like the kit puma gave us for world cup 2006 was so plain and boring.
Personally I think brands like macron, adidas or kappa would be nice, provided they give us a nice exclusive design.

Fuck uhlsport. They were there only cos of WC2014, they needed that sponsor. They are cunts, I will never buy their merchandises. Man I wish we could go back to puma. Simple but who cares.

Anyway, there's this miadidas thing where you can insert your own logo onto a adidas shirt with different designs too choose from. Its pretty good and cheaper than jerseys.

Hasn't uhlsport been sponsoring us since WC2014 qualification? They technically didn't know whether we would qualify or not when they sponsored us.

I like our Uhlsport jerseys too, but the main issues I have with Uhlsport right now is that the jerseys are very hard to get your hands on, and that any other of our national teams except for our main one, all wear stuff that look like cheap copies and fakes!

on the Bold, it seems to me thats just about the only way that a sponsorship with our mostly corrupt IFF and Iran as a customer in general, would still yield significant enough profits for the sponsor and make some business sense..!! especially so after the all important World Cup exposure has been worn off, which all so often is the only reason they get into a sponsorship with us anyways to begin with..!
i mean realistically, less than 10-15% of TM's Domestic fans would actually buy their kits from an official Uhlsport shop, most will opt to pay for significantly cheaper off-brand readily available everywhere in the country ..! and a FAR Majority of us Expats also opt for a fakes from Aliexpress than to forking over $70+ for an original Uhlsport one..! (which anyways, proved to be hardly any, if much improvement over the much cheaper knockoffs from Aliexpress, as far as im concerned...!!)
Iran name in general has a significant negativity surrounding it in world wide media, nearly always year round..! outside the Iran, not much positive exposure/publicity is afforded for Brands associating themselves with TM or anything iranian..!! In fact the risk of turning off their potential local customers looms larger for the brand seen to be associated with a supposed axis of evil, conservative Mooooozlem country..! right or wrong, those are the business realities on the ground facing sponsorship of TM...!
Banking and other Sanctions imposed on IR regime also makes any sort of business relationship with Iran/TM very complicated and many companies would rather avoid us all together than to try creative but costly and very Risky byways to get around those international financial restrictions..!
there are and have always been many thieving goons within the IFF who have stolen many shipments of original kits shipped by the sponsor for different levels of TM's official games ..! i remember Puma complained about few of such shipments claimed by IFF officials as supposedly lost in transit..!!?? im sure it hasnt been much different with Uhlsport so far..!!? there was again such a case with Uhl too, pre WC..!! Where the company claimed to have sent original top grade product but IFF claimed that we had received inferior fakes from their Dubai-based ME distributor..!!
even though much of the official Uhl game jerseys worn today by our TM seem to be cheap KOs and almost All their Training kits screaming fake, cheap shitt..!! AT LEAST WE ARE GIVEN ENOUGH MATCHING FAKE KITS, so our teams can at least look to be with sufficient matching training kits and game kits from Head to Toe..!!
I still havent forgotten those embarrassing times when still under Puma sposorship after 2006 WC, but they didnt gave a fk to ship us anymore kits to replace supposed lost in transit ones sent to IFF, hence our TM players were forced to costume make their old jerseys personally with new numbers or fill in the voids in their uniform with other brands socks or short etc even during official senior TM matches ..!!
i think IFF best off staying with Uhlsport for time being and in the meantime search for alternatives..!cause i doubt they'll find many interested suitors outside of Iranian companies..! in the months running up to a major tourney, like AC or WC thats when they realistically could garner serious interest from foreign based brands, especially the more established, maroof Marks everyone yearning for here..!
