Say goodbye to those lackluster old boring derbies. Both teams last season broke the ice and got rid of that goddamn losing taboo!

Perspolis I think will win this game as well, thus a 3 back-to-back derby wins. We desperately need this team, so that we can get closer to the contender teams. Currently our team is on its real high-spirited days, they play good, very young and energetic team, great caoch!

My only concern is our shaky defense and GK. Let's hope to see a nice display by both teams and a convincing win for the mighty Reds!

Expect Taj fans to chant "Soobleh Choobleh" for their coach Mazloumi. I'm sure Mazloumi himself would like to forget about Zayed and that 2-3 loss. He went from "Soobleh Choobleh" to "Kabob Koobideh".

Both teams are playing good football. Esteghlal as the league leaders and Persepolis finally picking it up in the past few weeks. This is going to be a good match.

I do not want to be a downer guys, but just like every year the media in iran are hyping this derby and creating false hope again. I am hope I am wrong but it is shameless with some of the titles they use. 100K this or that, when was the last time that many people actually went to the stadium "khood joosh" not with fake advertisement. I predict another low turn out tomorrow and even a subpar game from both teams.
