I think he will be one of our key, if not THE DM of Iran in the future, similar to Nekounam.

IMO Man of the Match today.
He is not relatively young (24-25), he is very young (19).

But yes, this guy is the future and he will eclipse arguably our best midfielder ever - Javad Nekonaum.

His time at Athletico's team was incredibly important to his development.

I see Haghighi and Ehsan both at fault. Haghighi for totally miscalculating the ball (should not be starting) and Hajsafi for allowing the player to get in front of him. This a weakness that has not been corrected by TM technical staff. Out of the last 15 or 16 times we have been scored on, most have come from that side and on long balls. It is obvious that Hajsafi is not playing his natural position and is not keen on getting to the ball before the defender in front of the goal (we really miss Pouladi). We were also very unlucky and hit the posts multiple times.

Regarding Dejagah, I admit that some are too harsh on him - me included. Maybe his idiotic and disappointing move to $$$ made many of us dislike him too much; hence we are always looking for the slightest reason to criticize him. Just looking at the highlights alone you will see that he was part of many offensive moves and showed glimpses of his true quality, so once can’t be too mad at him.

But the thing is: he is definitively not on the same level he used to be and many of us simply might believe there is also no hope for him to reach his old form playing in the mighty QSL, in fact he can only decline the way it looks like. It's mostly his "Name" that is covering him these days, a Shojaei with the same performance would have been bashed even more.

Yes. The AFC has said that seating needs to be individual seating. The upper portion of Azadi does not have individual seating with seat numbers, it is just concrete blocks people sit on.

From what I remember, this needs to be corrected before people are allowed to sit there for AFC matches.

Am i the only one being happy we are in the next round?
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

He wasn't playing too different before either. I mean aside from his first game against Qatar and the Argentina game, he has played like this.

Even at Fulham he played similar, he is an attacker and takes people on and sometimes looses the ball. I think we expect him to play different or better because of the weaker opponent, but I think that is just his game.

Yeah bro, 'cause I think you're the only one who fell for Khiabani's usual gibberish that if we win this match the rest of them are just formalities!

That guy can't go through 5 minutes before either repeatedly stating the obvious or making a completely stupid and obviously wrong statement.

We're nowhere near the clear yet... we basically have to match Oman point for point and maintain our GD advantage to go through.

If the Turkmens manage to hold Oman next week or better yet beat them, and we beat Guam then we can have a sigh of relief, but we're still not guaranteed qualification until March.

I am actually starting to become a huge fan of Torabi, gotta love his attidude and the way he plays.
We can certainly take a joke! but there are jokes and there are jokes! ... You are a VIP member and we need you to set an example for the rest. Thanks.

Even in Asia, they have started to put people on seats and not concrete blocks. Unlike in Iran that spectators are treated like herds.

I was so disghusted when Khiabani commented on a camera view of Azadi and said, "A beautiful view" ... all you could see was broken concrete and an stadium which has served its useful life.

When do they want to realize we are behind and stop this ridiculious comments.

We are not qualified yet guys.

We have to win against Guam, and if Oman drops points the next match day there will be less pressure for the final remaining 2 games.

But the 1st spot is still wide open since we both share 11 PTS with Omani's.

We should have won 7-1 today but let's also remember that we were missing 6 of our regular starters
