The swedish league is a good destinatiom if its used as a stepping stone to go to a better league with its higher exposure. Otherwise i dont think players will improve much in the swedish league alone. Either way i doubt players like taremi or alishah would go to sweden with the perspolis bug already having bitten them

Agreed, but let me tell you.. They'll most definitely improve their professionalism (training, work rate, nutrition, expectations etc.) working in a professional environment. Either way, I hope something comes out of Patrick Mörk being their agent regardless of which European league they'll end up in.

Both players and coaches in IPL jump around from team to team each year, so there's a lack of an identity and footballing culture. So far the only lasting identity we have in Iran is CQ's defensive approach.
Not sure about the squad on that friendly, but Sweden's national team barely have any players from their own league. Besides, Sweden played on a level that game that they rarely manage to play on.

But all their players are products of their league! Including Zlatan!

Are you saying that Sweden played much better than usual against Iran? I'm not sure what you mean here but Sweden is usually considered a very good side in Europe! No team in Iran's standard can ever manage to advance from a WC group of death, consisting of England, Argentina and Nigeria as Sweden did some years ago. Not many teams in the world for that matter, can manage to pull off a draw from being 4-1 down against Germany, IN GERMANY! Not many teams in the world can manage to draw or even win against Italy times and times again. Should I talk about England?

I can't even believe we are having this discussion!

The strength of every national team is indirectly related to their league! I would say the Swedish league is generally stronger than Austrian, Belgian, Greek and Swiss leagues. I think it would be a very good start for our young players!

At least I think so. Especially considering how awful they were in the Euro 2016 qualification.

But forget about how they were at a particular point in time. Every national team have ups and downs! Instead, take a look at the Swedish football during the past 20 some years! That's more of an indication of how their league in general is doing! They are producing the likes of Zlatan and Ljungberg and Henrik Larsson. You don't see that in many European leagues. I would say the Swedish league comes after the Dutch, Portuguese and French leagues and Bundesliga.

It seems like we're talking about two different things..

Yeah the previous Sweden national team generation was bad ass! I'm talking about the one with the players you mentioned.

I wouldn't mind at all our players joining the Swedish league, since players in that league are picked up by bigger European leagues very easily. Many of our IPL players I believe after 1-2 seasons there could transfer to bigger stronger leagues.
In IPL like Zamboor said you can play great for 5 seasons but no one will notice you anyways, while scouts are looking at Allsvenskan all the time.

Well, compared to the entire qualification, especially the games against Austria (1:1; 1:4), Sweden played much better against us. The score should have been a draw though.

Yes but our young players can also learn a lot in the Swedish league and progress the way they would never in IPL. Even if they happen to stay in the Swedish league their entire career, they would gain much better stamina and strength and have much better tactical awareness and understanding of the game than if they stayed in IPL! They would definitely learn the professional thinking and behavior!

As said before, I'd rather see our players come to the Swedish league than even seeing them play in Austrian, Belgian or Swiss leagues.

I agree. I'm talking in terms of talent now, that our players can play there and outgrow the league quickly. Other than that the Swedish league is a fully professional league which can teach our players a lot.

But what I'm saying is that if the likes of Taremi etc go there, I don't see them staying there for long, since judging by what we've seen from him, I'd say it's no too hard to believe that he will move on to a better league after 1-2 seasons.

Zlatan is a product of the Swedish league. If malmö FF would have never given him a chance to play and develop in the first years he wouldn't be anywhere today.

But indeed he developed more at Ajax than any other Club. How did Ajax find him? cause he played for Malmö FF and not PersOVerPayplayersPolis.

These are once in a generation players who are just talents freaks. They don't have much to do with the leagues

Zlatan, like every other great footballer, was a product of street football.
