Hammarby who finished 11th out of 16 had the most average attendance with 25 490 spectators, and the big games have had over 40 000 in top modern stadiums. Put that in perspective with the size of the country etc. and don't compare to Azadi derbies and 80 million people. Think Naft vs. Malavan etc.
Indeed little norrköping sold out their arena for the whole season. In gothenburg (I attended some games) also sold out every game i watched there this season. We dont have the population but the fans culture is amazing.

This is the team i support which Taremi is rumored to go to! We got great fans and our best player is at the moment Haytham Aleesami from Norway. Also IFK supporters aint racists. Most football supporters in sweden aint except Hammarby fans.

By a small margin so if Taremi is as good as people say he shouldn't have any troubles to shine here. Seriously swedish fans are special seeing how there aren't so many. This is a song they sing in stockholm against us in Gothenburg cause they hate us.

Okay guys think like this. All Swedish games are televised in HD. Supporter culture is amazing at most clubs. Dont you want to see iranians playing here? seriously?

Here's some more from this past season:

I mean there's a reason why players such as Dickson Etuhu (Fulham), Mohammed Bangura (Celtic) and Jos Hooiveld (Southampton) left to come and play for AIK in Sweden instead of cashing in elsewhere where the taxes are lower and the sign on bonuses bigger.

Or Henok Goitom after Serie A and La Liga. Or Markus Rosenberg in Malmö FF after Bundesliga and PL. Or Tobias Hysén returning home to IFK Göteborg after a spell in PL. Or Anders Svensson in Elfsborg after PL. Or Kennedy Bakircioglu and his Hammarby after being in La Liga. The list goes on and on. And not to forget the quality of living here socially.

I was bored and my friends from malmö said want to join us so we went. Haha awesome game that was. Always sweet to see a Stockholm team lose the title

You know, a league being better is also about their infrastructure, planning, the different clubs' training facilities, fields, youth program, diet, etc. Add to that the number of times their clubs get to play against Professional European teams in friendlies or other, I would say allsvenska is better than IPL, not just by a small margin! I think the margin is quite big!

In that way yes Allvenskan is miles ahead of most european countries as well. But player quality wise it aint because every talent leaves early. Like a lot of Swedish talents and the age of 15-16 get snapped up from their clubs (usually playing for clubs in lower divisions not allsvenskan. and join academies in england, holland etc. Like this one kid from my hood left to a BPL team and recently a kid from Malmö, Rosengård same place as were Zaltan grew up got picked up by another BPL team to join their academy. If these players didnt leave at such an early age the league would be filled with better players today. But I would say in IPL we got more quality players talent vise. Not just the iranians but the foreigners as well.

Let's see if these guys will actually choose to leave Iran.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Taremi is more likely to go.

When a player takes a penalty in a crucial champions league match in front of 100,000 of his home fans, CHIPS the ball with pure confidence and scores, that player should NOT have too many insecurities to leave and play abroad.

Mehdi Taremi is more than capable of doing so. It's just the matter of will he accept the fact that they'll pay him less? We will see.

I barely know any player from the Swedish league really well except 2 players Martin Mutumba who apparently was pretty big in Sweden and Ahmed Yasin of the Iraq NT who played there until a season ago, and although this doesn't mean anything but based on my knowledge of them I can say that we have so many players as good if not better than them in our league (some who never even got the chance with TM), neither of them would be special in the IPL, especially Mutumba who was no better that any average winger in the league when he was playing at Rah Ahan.

But in general I would doubt that the average Swedish league player is any better than the average IPL player. Nevertheless I would be glad if someone like Taremi accepts offers from top Swedish teams as on the long run thanks to the superior professionalism, training and infrastructures over there, it would really benefit his development

Mutumba is more of a cult player for AIK. He was a big talent some 10 years ago, but broke his leg playing with his friends and got dropped. Then made a comeback a couple of years ago and won the league 2009. He's currently a 3rd division player after Rah Ahan, so yeah.. Ahmed Yasin was a good player, but for a bottom team.

With that said, I wouldn't base the current talent level on these two players. But as I said earlier, IPL has higher peaks talent wise, but IPL aren't able to nurture the talent to make them substantial.
