And to be honest this strategy worked . I went to thailand few years ago and most people there supported manchester united only because of the Asian players.

In the latest episode (dropped today) of Swedish podcast show "08-Fotboll" which focuses on the Stockholm teams; AIK, Djurgården and Hammarby, they discuss the Taremi to Hammarby rumor. The host Björn Johnson says that he's spoke with Patrick Mörk who confirmed that he represents Taremi among others and so Johnson asks him if in fact Taremi will move to Hammarby and he didn't deny it and replied "Maybe". Seems like the interest is really legit and that certain factors need to be negotiated for it to actually happen.

Taremi is a big player for a club like that. Oh well, Japanese and Korean players that are as good and even worse than him (why give names at this point, there are 10s of them everywhere in the BL, we saw them vs Iran) can start off their European careers at Mainz, Augsburg, Hertha BSC and etc... Taremi will have to start off in "Hammarby".
It's sad, but at the point where we're at I'll take it unfortunately.
