Don't worry, there were Iranians on Facebook, who downgraded TM after the 1st leg against Guam and the 3-1 win against Turkmenistan.

Iran won which is good.

There were mistakes and Iran played anti-football during the last twenty minutes.

Iran made poor substitutes. In not so important games, opportunities should be given to players who do not have much playing time. Khosorow Heidari should retire. He has had enough playing time for TM.

How did Iran play Anti-Football? CQ asked his players to play cautiously, this way they save their legs for their clubs and future TM matches. As much as we wanted to see more goals, but logically there was no need to score more goals, we absolutely held possession in the last 25 minutes and controlled the ball and the game, it just seemed that we did not go for more goals.

Anti-Football term is applicable when a team after 1-2 goal lead starts defending and just shoots away any incoming ball.

Turkeminstan beats India in Lahore
And.. Iran beats Oman in Tehran

Personally, I like to see Turkmenistan advance to the next stage instead of Oman. They have the potential to develop into a strong team like Uzbekistan. I liked the way they played against Iran. They are a tough team to beat.
