I think the situation with khalatbari was beyond discipline it was also physics, whilst his relationship with CQ seemed normal he was just dropped My guess is that he failed CQ's stringent requirements for endurance and stamina. These are fundemental in his selection criteria. And that in turn makes for his team a team that can attack and defend as one force. Khalatbari had no place in that.

I remember CQ said he would personally call some players before dropping them off TM. I thought KB was one of them. CQ was looking for players who can fit in several positions. KB could not.

In an extreme case of versatility, pourghaz played as a keeper against Guam. Could you imagine KB in goal? [emoji15]

CQ always liked physical type of players and he didn't fit in his system, i guess Khalatbari had his place in team. He remind me a bit of Khodadad, he wasn't maybe 90 minutes player in CQ system but definitely he had his place, i mean we took like Reza Haghighi to WC, where is this guy now? I know we talk about different position but still.

There are more than just 1 player in a football team! Not every single one of them has to be Pourghaz!

^ I was only poking fun at the the versatility issue. Otherwise love KB's game.

I think thats probably another problem for most our players, while they CAN be playing top Euro league football, they might not pass physicals because of extensive training and practice regimens. There's more emphasis on fitness these days than finesse and being technical with the ball.

Our league needs to get better at doing professional training. Kinda like CQ does with TM...i was impressed at our TM under CQ....they can actually last a fulll 90 min as opposed all other TM coaches that fell apart after 70th min.
I think it was FC Köln.
