Where I graduated wanted me to purchase their logo, shirts, etc. I purchased NOTHING from that school nor any other school.
I will never wear any team's shirts. If Iran is going to pay for the expenses of clothes, I would tell them to get lost.
Uhlsport was not known in Iran. Now many people know them and its logo was shown on world stage. This was excellent opportunity for Uhlsport.
Middlemen, coaches, Federation, etc., want a piece of the pie so to speak.
My solution. Choose a logo such as Majid. I would go with something like Persia or another IRANIAN name. Many Iranians would design the logo for free. Once the logo or design is decided, let Iranian manufacturers make the gear, not just shirts, but whole host of accessories. Many Iranians would participate in making this happen.چو ایران نباشد تن من مباد

supply of original Joma gear (even with simple design) > fake uhlsport shirts (with cool design).
Uhlsport has failed miserably, they cant provide our national team with proper gear.
At the moment we just need a Company that are willing to supply us quality gear+enough material.
I hope that Nike will sponsor us. Recently they ve opened stores (Nike store) in Iran

Iran wearing a brand (unfortunately) doesn't do anything for the company's brand equity globally, because we are not opinion leaders, nor are we "in" or "cool".
When Brazil or Barcelona wear Nike, millions of people's perception of Nike is positively affected. But when Iran wears uhlsport, the average global consumer is not thinking "wow, Iran is wearing uhlsport, this might be a great brand".
uhlsport took their chances with Iran, and they were let down. They hoped to penetrate the Iranian market because the facts and figures (population 80 mil, lots of clubs, World Cup history, etc) gave them the perception that it's a market they could be somewhat successful in. The one vital thing that they didn't factor in was that Iran is one big black market.
I mean come on... there are countless stores/boutiques in Iran that have Gucci, Versace, and Prada logos on their windows and signs, but almost everything in the store is fake. Look how chic and fashionable Iranians are... walking on the streets of Tehran (and elsewhere), you see everyone wearing every high-end brand you can imagine lol... you think they're paying 300 thousand toman for a Lacoste polo with the wages over there?
Vahid Jafari risked his own business contacts/relationships to provide his country's national teams proper sports-wear, and all people do is talk shit about uhlsport, and demand adidas lol
unreal man, just unreal
wake up and smell the chayi darchin
You need to read more about research done on peoples buying habits and how it works.

Loll stop talking about things you have no clue about. Before sponsoring TM, uhlsport was already a well known brand. And you completely ignore what I said regarding brand image.
You need to go read about marketing, not me.
