I'm surprised why some of Iranians from abroad don't get a callup for Team Omid!!! Now that Azmoun, Ezatollahi and Jahanbakhsh are not in team, at least others should have got a callup.

I guess Azmoun and Ezatollahi could play for the Olympic team. According to this article, the Russian Premier League will have a 3 month break from mid-December to mid-March. Of course, I'm not sure of the accuracy of the article as it's from PersianLeague.com and they referenced it from Tasnim.

Im just going to assume (and hope) your keyboard has a mind of its own and you don't actually think someone playing in Luxembourg should be called up with 1 month to go before the tournament.

You are right, with one month to go to the tournament perhaps too little time to try footballer from Luxembourg League, but considering Olympic Games start in August and football possibly even earlier like July, then a player from Luxembourg League playing qualifiers for Team Omid might prepare him for the final tournament Who knows maybe this footballer might end up in Netherlands, Germany or Belgium if he shines

It would be a good experience for Ezatollahi to play for U-23. What's funny and cool is that he played for the senior team before TM Omid. So he can use his experience with Team Melli and help our Omid team.

As for Azmoun, I wish him a speedy recovery with his nose and all. It's good that he did it now and got it out of the way early on in his career. TM Omid can and will definitely benefit from having Azmoun in the roster.

Mr. Khakpour, do what you have to do please and help qualify this team to Rio. It would be a super +++ and will help our countries football in the long run.
