Iran @ 2016 AFC Asian Futsal Championships

Draw was done yesterday. The tournament starts on February 10 v. Jordan for Iran. We have an easy group, we got the worst team from each pot. This is also the Futsal World Cup qualifier, the top 5 are guaranteed a spot for Colombia 2016, we will qualify easily.

Iran's Group:
Iran
Iraq
China
Jordan

If we win the group we will play the 2nd place team of Group A (Uzbekistan, Kyrgszstan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon) and if we win that 99% we will play Thailand in the semi's so we have a pretty easy path to the final where we will face our only competition, Japan, we are a much better side than Japan, we just need to focus, unlike last 2 AC's.

Wow 10 February already. I thought it would be much later.

Anyway, they should just add Iran to the list of World Cup participants already. Because this is way too easy HAHAHAHA.

All we have to do is win our group stage like we always do, and we are basically through to the WC.

Our futsal had a steep decline since our magnificent performance in the 2008 world champs. We have a good squad so let's hope we bounce back.
