-Good game by Sepahan and a much needed victory at the perfect time. Had Pereira not been so selfish and trying to go for the hattrick we could have inserted at least 4-5 goals up Al Nasr's rear end. Hopefully this result builds some confidence in our players and they can finish the league strong as well.

-Congrats to ZZ for a great result away in Qatar vs. Lekhwiya as well. ZZ has a lot of young players in their squad and half of them have never performed in the ACL. They were playing very nervous at the beginning of the game and generally in the first half. I expect them to get better throughout the tournament as their young players gain some experience in the ACL in a very difficult group. Smart game plan by Golmohammadi and Co.

- Overall all of our 3 teams have talented squads and potential to do good in this edition of ACL. ZZ and Sepahan have proven themselves in AFC before, its about damn time Teraktor puts their great squad in use.

Well done to my Hamshahri teams. Better results than expected.

However having followed the ACL closely for over 10 years now I have noticed our teams always perform great in the first week and two an extent in the second week but perform very poorly in the 3rd and 4th weeks. The general pattern on average has been WDLLDW or something like that. I hope we don't see the pattern again this year and our team continue with solid performances.

omg this is the reality of our football, our teams suck, our league sucks, our players are amateurs. I miss that now But don't worry they will be back as soon as any of our teams lose a game



Sepahan with a solid win which could have been by more goals. And big win by a young ZA team away against a mighty QSL team stacked with foreign stars

Fazeli was really good. Him, KB and Shimba were constantly threatening their defense. Ghafouri was a wall on the RB as well he completely owned Pitroipa during 90 min
