UAE club was demoralized after first goal. Which is great, strike them early to get them down.
However, from the highlights it indeed looked like a very good game from them, also considering they were playing outside of their home. So of course big props to them as well!
We have had some other teams in the ACL in the past who had very convincing games too, like Sepahan a few years back under GN against Saudi teams, but also Esteghlal who won away games against the best Saudi teams. But unfortunately those games are rare from Iranian sides and especially from Traktor who've been a big disappointment in ACL in all the editions they participated in. What I liked about Traktor yesterday was that after the lead they didn't start sitting at the back with 10 players (like many Iranians team do once they take the lead), but they kept pushing and going forward to score more.
So seeing such a convincing game from them was a pleasant surprise! Hope all the Iranian teams can keep it up.Persian Pride running through my veins!
Esteghlal for life!!

It is great to start with a win, but as we all know from past experience, that the real challenge in ACL is sustaining the momentum and the ability to improve specially during the long break.
Unfortunately, the trend with Iranian teams has been one of inconsistent performance and inability to keep the team together.
None of our teams looked solid despite the wins.
