No. This is is the age where they learn lots from their losses. Losing in a meaningless tournament is ok if it means they play better in the future.

We have never been very good in this tournament. I remember that we once lost 0-8 to Georgia.

Main reason Iran is not dong well in this tournament is incompetent IFF officials with idiotic decisions.
this iranian team is exact team( same players) attended last year!!.

last year IFF youth director ( Moeini) & team coach Alidoosti proudly declared " .. but we were 2 years younger...". This year they repeated " ... but we were one year younger". (" لازم به توضیح است تیم ملی نوجوانان در این تورنمنت یک سال کوچکتر از تیم های دیگر بود. " )

They attend Tournaments with different age requirement , they lose badly and they think that is good experience for the team and players.

These are same IFF officials who send U19 to Turkey for " six Nations Tournament" that does not exist. They said they will play kosovo u19. now they said No Koovo but a team from Antalya! ( Montakhab Antalya). this Antalya team does not exist , that is same team U23 played 6 weeks ago and it was just team of collective players assemble by Training camp .( "گفتنی است؛ بازیکنان تیم ملی فردا از ساعت 15:00 با منتخب آنتالیا یک دیدار برگزار خواهند کرد " )

Is reza chaab going to miss a chance to go to portugal because of a meaningless u19 tournament? Theres been no news of it for a month and the european transfer windows will close in a few days. Im guessing its unlikely since hes still in turkey.

I think he is a free agent. So he can go there after the tournament (if that offer wasn't BS)

Even if he is i think he needs to sign during the transfer window to be eligible to play, in the league at least

Oh, maybe then. But I believe he will mostly play for their youth team anyway
