I know the MLS isn't the most luxurious league, but my man Steven keeps playing solid defense and assisting players left and right! Not enough love for this man!!

Beitashour will not feature for TFC against Seattle. it appears a few of their key starters are being rested for this match:
"Giovinco, Vazquez, Zavaleta & Beitashour out of Toronto FC’s trip to Seattle Sounders
According to Gareth Wheeler, Sebastian Giovinco, Victor Vazquez, Steven Beitashour and Eriq Zavaleta have not travelled to Seattle for Toronto FC’s match against the Sounders on Saturday.
None of those players, as far as we are aware, are injured, so we can only assume they are being rested."

Marca nominates Steven as a potential RB for the MLS Allstars to face Real Madrid:
"Though it will be a pre-season friendly for Real, the MLS representatives will be motivated by the chance to beat the European champions. As such, MARCA has put together a possible 'Best of MLS' side that could come up against Los Blancos in August.
Right-back - Steven Beitashour, Toronto FC: Not a superstar but a consistently solid performer in defence and attack but doesn't get the headlines."

But will we see Esteev in Team Melli again? I wonder if Carlos is preparing a list for Post-World Cup Qualifiers. I know we have good RBs, but Mehrdad is playing well and he should get another chance.
I feel like every time I comment in this thread I repeat myself. It's cliche when it comes to Beitashour and Davari.

Toronto FC blog, Walking the Red, gives Steven an A- rating for his performances for this season so far:
"Toronto FC report cards: Grading every player’s performances so far
Who has impressed and who has disappointed as we hit the first break of the season?
Steven Beitashour: If you disregard age and salary, is there a right-back in MLS that Toronto would trade Beitashour for? The likes of Graham Zusi and Harrison Afful may be more impactful individuals, but Beitashour is another player who just shows up every week and provides the platform from which the more attacking players can shine. A-"

Major injury to Steve......
He has undergone abdominal surgery after a huge brutal hit from Kyle Fisher from Montreal Impact.
https://www.wakingthered.com/toronto...d-pancreas-mls
Here is the video of the hit. I am calling it a hit and not a collision because to me it looks like the guy was trying to take out the man (our man!) rather than play the ball.

I don't know what you guys think but I actually think Kyle Fisher should recieve a major ban. It is absolutely brutal, with a elbow right in the mid-section. Shameful really.
Let's prey that Steve recovers from his surgery and this doesn't affect his career.
