Not necessarily.. US has DeAndre Yedlin at RB... No way he would ever jump him

Yes but he would be more likely to be called up/used in a defensive formation or if Yedlin was injured

This may be a very unpopular opinion-but I do think that beitashour is a better defender than Ramin. Ramin attacks and pushes up a lot which is very helpful, setting up our midfield and strikers. But defensively, Ramin is not sound. Maybe Ive just watched him when he isnt as fit as usual, but he gets caught time and time again because how he pushes up forward. Yes I know he is important in the attack which defenders should be, but no chance Ramin lasts 2 world cup games unless he works on fitness-that goes for most of the team to be honest.

If you think Beitashour is better than either of rezaeian or ghafouri then you probably haven’t seen him play in the last few years or at least not consistently seen him. He does nothing better than either of the two which is why he doesn’t get called up. He’s been playing in a position that tm doesn’t use for the past 2ish seasons anyways. Also rezaeian is one of the most if not the most fit tm player...

Rezaeian is one of the most players we have.

He's 6'1 and fast and runs the whole game.

If you think he isn't fit you obviously know very little about him.

He has some silly moments sometimes in defense but overall he's the best player we have for that position.

Ghafouri is better in defense but rezaein has much more quality and can cause serious problems for any teams defense.

Dont play games man. Ramin the most fit player? that is laughable. Ever heard of ghoddos? When is the last time Ramin got more than 2 minutes in a game. All im saying is that Ramin gets caught out plenty of times. That isnt an arguable issue that is the truth. For example, Milad is 10 times better of a defender than ramin and much more fit. two bad we dont have someone as good as milad on the right side. But again, as i said, unpopular opinion.

Haha then how are you assessing his fitness? Going to watch his trainings or what? Lol

By watching him when he plays a full game ?

The logic is not strong with this one.

Hey buddy, I know that it makes you feel big and strong on the internet-but no need to be condescending. We are having a discussion. All im saying is that Ramin gets caught out too many times. Also he is not even close to being on of our fittest players. That is the truth BIG GUY.

Based on the fact that they have a new coach and he started capon a few times instead of ramin ?

Even when ramin played full games against Lyon ?

I'm just pointing out that your logic is shit, it's not an attack on you as a person, it's an attack on your weak ass argument.

As Keonkish said your logic with fitness is poor. You can tell just by looking at ramin and watching tm games that Ramin is one of the fittest players. Ramin getting caught out sometimes doesn’t make Beitashour a better player. I was hoping you would show that you’ve actually seen Beitashour’s games since I’m pretty sure most people who think he’s so great don’t even watch his games. Can you tell me what position he played yesterday and what his role was?

Steven wasn't even good enough to replace heydari.

I know a lot of you guys love MLS but it's a weak league.

The Mexican league is the best in concacaf and is the only league in concacaf with a high level of intensity

As a big supporter of both Beitashour and TM, I can honestly say Esteve isn't obviously better than any option we currently have at RB.
When it comes to a tie in terms of skill for a spot on the WC team, CQ will look to culture fit. Obviously it would be hard for Esteve to fit with the players when he is American born and Farsi is his second language.
Overall, he's skilled enough to play for us. But when choosing between 2 players of same skill, the pure Iranian would win any day of the week.
We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

He couldn't even be impressive vs Thailand

He was a backup player and that's it
