This is the best pitch they have got. Their national team and Istiqlol Dushanbe home ground, called Pomir/Pamir Stadium (also known as central republican stadium).

The picture can be old as well as the google map photos.

This is FooladShahr Stadium (one of our worst stadiums)

Honestly I think FooladShahr is better. You can compare it yourself.

To be honest, we should boycott this matches. Just pull out. We have nothing from AFC and ACL. We won´t win it anyway, and to be honest we do not qualify for further than 1/8 final. sepahan is nearly out, needs a win now, and two final matches vs. saudi. teraktor and sob than have to improve, or they finish just second or even third. right now, good position in the ranking.

But if we accept now neutral ground, we will also play in national game on neutral ground...

We have nothing to lose, what will AFC do with us? The worst possible thing will be, our teams will be disqualified, but we will ruin AFC CL...be dark they disqualify us...

The worst thing will be our NT will be grouped with saudi arabia and we also don´t face them on NT basis, and worst case is disqualification from national team games, be dark also this, i would take a disqualification and step out of AFC and having a reason and starting to bid joining UEFA, because the best reason to join or asking for joining UEFA is to have problems and disqualification of AFC....

you must have a opportunity cost, if you want to join uefa..

we will most likely play our home matches in uzbekistan and they will probably play their home matches in UAE or Qatar.

Politics aside, we all knew AFC would vote in favor of KSA.
I was saying the same thing at the start of this thread, but most people were (as usual) full of empty confidence. Iran has attacked a foreign nation's embassy 8 separate times in the past 100 or so years. A record. I'm happy this is happening. Actions should have consequences.

Sure, many Western countries get away with murder, but they rule the world. Iran is like North Korea. They like to act like brats and cry when they get slapped in the face. Sit down, grow up, become powerful and one day you too can rule the world.

How does that equate to Saudi football teams being in danger my dear Vanmonton.

Iran can come and say 400 some Iranians were killed in Mecca, or that Saudi is discriminatory against Shia or they hold us up for a day in their airports.... but it wouldn't mean anything to AFC.
We could be a liberal democracy and it still wouldn't matter.
            AFC is the Saudi FA.

I'm fine with playing our home games in Uzbekistan. The Uzbeks will come and they will support us over the wussy cheaters.

                I agree with Saeed Noro

We need to boycot the Saudi matches , and let's face none of Iranian teams have a chance to go to the finals of Asian CL anyway

I just realized that if we boycott the games there will be only one winner and that would be Saudi Arabia. If we do that they stay in the league en don't need to play on neutral ground, while we miss Champions League income and acting like a "cornered animal".

This is outrageous and shameful .. another dark spot in our sports history or for the country for that matter.

And more shameful is how this issue has been addressed by the dysfunctional and unqualified people in position of authority in our country. I cannot understand how people just did nothing and waiting until we were hit with this kind of biased and un sportsmanship decision.

Iran should not boycott the games, it should take this matter to the court of sports arbitration. If Saudi has put a ban on its citizens to travel to Iran than that is their problem and not ours.

And. .. please stop suggesting alternative neutral venues for the games. You sound like bunch of defeated who take anything!!

This isn't about football aziz. Iranians attacked their embassy, of course there will be consequences. You can't say "oh we attacked their embassy, they should attack our embassy and leave sports alone". KSA is an oil rich country with friends in high places, they can get away with it because again, they got the $$$ and friends to back it up. Iran neither has the $$$ or the friends to back it up.

You bring up the 400 Iranians who were killed in Mecca, or the discriminatory against Shia, or the hold up at the airport, well you know what? The Iranian authorities had the same opportunity to cut ties with KSA or start the same political campaign against them when all those horrible things happened, but each year they talk the talk, but never actually pull through. But we are stupid enough to still send "pilgrims" over there, or send tourists over there, or still try to have relations with them.

And let me ask you, can we guarantee that some thugs won't rush their players when they are in our country? you and I, along with everyone else on PFDC can sit here and say nothing will happen to their players but how can we assure that the same people who attacked their embassy won't attack their team bus, or the hotel, or rush the locker room?

AFC is corrupt, we can't change the system, but we can damn well use it to our advantage. But sadly our officials don't do anything and just cry wolf without actually doing anything.

Money and power, heck even the aura of power, rule the world. You want influence? Become somebody. It's true on an individual level and on the macro level. Iran is the loser kid sitting in the corner attacking women and complaining that women hate nice guys like him.

Iran needs to grow the fuck up. Saudi has what it has b/c it has more influence. You want more influence? Play the game. Conquer the game and then change the rules if you like, or don't.

Iran can boycott, nobody will miss her.

We can continue this debate for another 50 pages, but at the end of the day we attacked their embassy so we are at fault.
