Ya who cares its a money decision good for him.Why do most of the people here get so offended when players pick money over team,100% of you would do the same. There is no guarantee in anything in life so if he can get money now and playing time y go to a league where there is no guarantee of playing time or money. Its not like all our legionaries are going to be good enough to play in the top leagues of the world.

Btw Morteza still hasn't done his Sarbazi and if he returned back to Iran, he would've probably been stuck in Tabriz/Anzali for about 2 years. Plus he wants to be able to visit his sick mother. Maybe we should take consideration about that.

and i cry when i read ur comments, bro each player is different. they come from different backgrounds. some people ( jahanbakhs , azmoun , ezzatolahi) took the hard route to go to europe at a young age and start from the youth team , B team and make their way up and not go money hungry. then there are other players ( morteza) came from a poor background and wants money! look , at the end of the day this is their job! this is how they make a living. lets say he moves to Europe and doesnt succeed ? then what? no money . then at that point u cant really be sure if a PGL or QSL team will even give u a contract. u guys act asif a player going to qatar is like he is signing his own death wish. remember Ali Karimi? did he play for bayern? i think he did.... but uhm, i forgot what team he transfered to bayern from... can you help me answer the question ?

They still make a lot of money in Europe. Hajsafi said he makes half of what he makes at sepahan at fsv, but that's still in the 150-250k range which is more than what 99% of people in this world make.
And karimi as well as shojaei, Nekounam went to Europe from UAE, no one has gone from Qatar recently.

Right, I'm not disagreeing that players in Europe don't get paid a decent amount ! It's just they will most like get a lot more playing for a Arab side . SURE almost all of football players make more than average people who work regularly but then again soccer players play for 10-15 years so they need to make as much as money as they can in that period to live a good and somewhat wealthy life ! Just like us they have families that they need to support .

Right, what I'm pointing at is that it is not the end of the world! U can easily
Go to Europe from Qatar, that's if u want of course.

As much as I dislike seeing our young talents playing in these Persian Gulf leagues, but in all fairness their chances of transferring to European clubs from these states are much higher than transferring directly from Iran. History has proven that, look back:

                Nekounam

                Karimi

                Daei?

                Shojaei

And more that off the top of my head I can't remember

Its a shame for him. I am sure we have enough players who can fill his place easily. Its not like that azmoun went to qatar.

I understand your frustration but is not like the guy had an offer from any European clubs, i guess you should know by now these guys are master of Bazar-Garmi. The reason i said from all of his possible offers that was the best is, he play alongside some good footballers like Xavi and can learn a thing or two, plus he plays in ACL which is upgrade of what he did last year.
Plus i see Qatar league being more competitive than IPL. any top 4 Qatari team can give our team hard time as we talk.

I fail to understand your logic when you say it's better than playing in Iran, any of Jabbari/Hosseini/Montazeri/Nouri and the rest of QSL Iranians have a much harder time standing out in the IPL than in their league, same with PAG in China, if you actually watch their games while comparing them to their IPL performances it should be clear to you. They play with 4 decent money loving foreign players and below average Qataris/Chinese, while in Iran most players have a football level really close to them. Are you basing your whole argument on foreign player reputation and ACL results?
Any top 4 Qatari teams can give our top 4 hard time, the days that we used to dominate them is over, investing pays off. Qatar league is probably second best in West Asia after Saudi or even better than UAE league.

The Qatari league is competitive to a lesser extent because of their foreign imports. IPL is much better than Qatar in terms of developing players.

and facilities and fields and training and coaches and and. The reality is he had choices between Naft, PP or any IP team vs Al-Saad and he decided to go for more money and maybe more professional environment. Very simple.

Yeah people think Qatar is some hell or something. It's only because its Arab. Nobody complains about the Chinese league. He is about to make a terrible decision but look if he is that good he will stand out and go to Europe, look at Ali Karimi on his return to Schalke.

No, Iran isn't better. Iran has greater talent, much greater. Put Iran in Qatars place : top 20 nation.
