Transfermarkt has already listed him as Al-Sadd player.

We now have 5 (!) Qatar Stars League players in our squad most of them being part of Team Melli's starting XI.

      Pouraliganji - Al Sadd
      Montazeri - Al Ahli
      Shojaei - Al Gharrafa
      Teymourian - Umm Salal
      Dejagah - Al Arabi

It's quite shocking that these Qataris only want Iranian players for their Asian foreign spots, almost half their teams (6/14) use Iranian players. Clearly our players get much more attracted by money than other Asian nationalities

I remember they even made an offer for Jahanbakhsh, so it's safe to say all our Team Melli players are wanted by most probably any single Qatari club.

It's a win win situation for them. They get very good players for their clubs and they indirectly harm teammelli with it.

It's definitely a bad move. But, at least he went to a good Qatari team...

His visa is going to be issued in the next few days. Then he will head to Qatar for final negotiations.

He said the main reason he wants to move is because of his childhood idol Xavi playing there, big lol. $$$

I like kabab koobideh. That dish is mainly served in Persian restaurants their kitchens, does it mean that I want to move there? No.

This has to be one of the most stupid and retarded reason to transfer to Qatar, only because he wants to play alongside Xavi.

Wasn't chinese food also a reason why Pouraliganji wanted to leave China?
                      That's his logic :P

Seriously?! Chinese food is delicious. And I'm not talking about Americanized Chinese food sold in the US, I'm talking actual Chinese food served in China.

That is only an excuse for moving there, after giving long speeches about moving to Japan or Europe. He went to Qatar for easy money and all of us know that. The rest are just drama and cover up.

That's why an Euro move isn't risky at all for iranian players as Qatar/IPL will still be there to rescue. The next for him is to Play with Saipa, Khoone be khoone, paykan, and become a player everybody will forget. Everybody will say, oh he was so promising...And he will make an interview saying he regrets snubbing Belgian clubs.

I dream CQ to cross him from TM list as these kind of traitor show the wrong path to other iranian players.

                                Morteza Pouraliganji to Al-Sadd

His only goal is to probably come out after his time in Qatar and say to Iranian media "yes em I learned a lot from Xavi while I was in Qatar", mark my words these will be the first things he will say once the contract is over.

PAG has put his career development on stall since January 2015 and looks like it will stay this way for a long long time
